I am looking for comfortable but stylish shoe suggestions for an upcoming trip in the next few weeks. Our trips in the last 10 years have all been in the summer so sneakers was my go to. Our little ones are adults now and I am beyond the mom shorts and t-shirt stage and hope to not wear dri-fit type summer clothing this trip. I am looking for VERY comfortable but stylish shoes to wear with skinny jeans, leggings & tunics (not workout attire but LulaRoe type), casual t-short dresses. As much as I love my Converse I cannot wear them at Disney all day long! Suggestions?

Similar to converse but more comfortable: superga cotu classics or the dc Trase TX SE sneaker (which look like vans but are much more comfortable).

I just ordered my first pair of Tieks. They're supposed to be amazing for travel and people claim that they can wear them all day without discomfort. I cannot speak to that myself yet, but they sound great!

They are flats made with a flexible sole and soft leather. They come in a rainbow of colors.

My travel wardrobe for my November trip is LuLaRoe (Perfect Ts, leggings, Maxi & Carly) & 2 pair of jeans. The shoes I'll be bringing are my Bobs (Sketchers version of Toms with Memory Foam insole!) & a pair of Crocs flats (comfy like Crocs but cute enough to wear with my maxi skirt or Carlys). I'll also bring a pair of Teva flip flops for the pool or parks if it's a warm day.

For comfortable and street-stylish sneakers I just got a pair of Brooks PureFlow 5. In black, I think they are fashionable enough to enough to wear with skinny jeans, legging, etc. while in the parks - they would give to a bit of the converse look while also giving you support and comfort. (Edit: Zappos currently has them on sale)

I just searched Lularoe out of curiosity. How do you make purchases? Is it all through independent consultations?

Yes, but there are tons of consultants on Facebook and online sales events (on FB). Do a search & you will probably be overwhelmed. If you can find a consultant in your area so that you can go to a local 'pop up' and try on styles for size, then you can shop on FB with anyone!

What about Chacos or Birkenstocks? All the cool kids around here are wearing Birks these days and pretty much go with anything if you get a cute pair.
I have wide feet and pretty much live in my Chacos.

Chacos do not have enough cushion for me. I bought a pair before our 2007 trip and that was a waste. I have another pair I wear when we go to the lake and boat but I could never stand to wear them all day. I borrowed my daughter's birkenstocks when she left for boot camp and they cause a blister on my arch when I wear them for long periods (I'm talking just to the mall) so those won't work either.

That stinks. It always takes me a day or two to get back to "Chaco feet" at the beginning of each summer. I get it. I'm so used to wearing Danskos that a Chaco feels so good to me.
There are two types of footbeds in birks - regular and wide. Wonder if a different fit might work. ::shrug:: I struggle with shoes myself so I feel your pain! Cute and comfy are hard to find.
I do keep reading about Tieks being GREAT shoes but they don't come in wides so I'm out. Lots of people love em tho!

How do you search for a consultant in your area? I am a LLR newbie. I just ordered an Irma and leggings. I would love to try other styles but afraid I won't like the style or fit.

The shoe brand that is the kindest to my feet is Skechers. They have all types of styles with memory foam. My advice is to find a Skechers store to try on.

Sperry has some styles that are really comfy. The Sperry Zuma is one of my favorites. I wear a lot of flats and tend to get blisters on my heels when I'm breaking them in, but these shoes have never given me blisters. They also have arch support, which is a necessity for a long park day...or any day (for me at least!). They are pretty casual, but look good with skinny jeans.

I'm not sure about that. I am lucky to have a friend who is a consultant.
Go to the llularoe website (lularoe.com) & select 'Shop Lularoe' then scroll down to 'find a consultant near you' to see if there is one in your area.

The easiest way is search "lularoe" on facebook and you will be surprised at the consultants that pop up in your area.

I wore my Tieks for the first time in Barcelona and was able to walk about 2 miles in them before my feet started to ache and blisters started to form. Granted 2 miles isnt bad for a flat, a day at Disney usually gets us about 5-10 miles . For flats that expensive I was hoping they'd be a little more comfortable and stylish. The top elastic is a little too tight on the top of my foot and the insert is way too firm. I have a pair for comfort flats with a cushioned insert from Payless that were a fraction of the cost and I could walk in them all day. I think they're called Dexflex scrunch flats.

I have to agree with you. I put so much hope into Tiek that they'd be the best shoes on Earth and I'm just no crazy about them.
