Comfy but stylish shoe suggestions

I have some Ecco Chase II sneakers that I love. Walked all over London in them. I bought the warm grey color and straight laced them. They are quality leather and I love them. I have heard awesome things about Skechers Go Walks. I haven't tried them myself but the style is very versatile. I would also say Birks but since you did not like the ones you borrowed, you might not like them. Although, they were shaped to her foot and not yours so they might not have been quite right for that reason or if you have a very flat foot. They really require breaking a little at a time to be awesome (30 minutes a day the first week, an hour a day the second week) as they mold and customize to your foot shape. Once they are molded, they are so amazing! My Birks are my favorite shoes of all time. I hope you find something you love!

I'm going to agree with anyone who recommends Keen sandals. I've tried just about everything and they really seem to have the best mix of comfort and style. You can really walk miles in them comfortably and they look good. Even at home, I find any excuse I can to wear them.

We swear by our Merrill jungle mocs. Hubby & I got my Mom & Uncle hooked on them. We all wore them for our last family trip.
I also love my Teva Tirra sandals. I have a couple pairs to switch out. I wore them all day every day for our F&WF trip last month. NO blisters, no foot or back pain.

Similar to converse but more comfortable: superga cotu classics or the dc Trase TX SE sneaker (which look like vans but are much more comfortable).

Thank you for suggesting the superga classics. I've been looking for a casual sneaker that is not converse. These are perfect!

I alternate between Teva flip flops and Birkenstock Gizeh. You have to find the right fit with Birkenstocks and give yourself time to break them in.

I just ordered my first pair of Tieks. They're supposed to be amazing for travel and people claim that they can wear them all day without discomfort. I cannot speak to that myself yet, but they sound great!

They are flats made with a flexible sole and soft leather. They come in a rainbow of colors.

I wore a pair of Tieks for a full day at Magic Kingdom last year, and although they were not the most comfortable shoe I wore (that prize goes to my Ahnu textile flats - so comfortable!), they were definitely better than my converse, or many other shoes I've tried over the years. For this trip I'm relying on my Ahnus mainly, but I'll bring my Tieks along just in case (I do love them).

I'd not heard of Ahnu before reading this. They look cool!
