I am wondering if the strollers you rent at the parks are comfortable enough for youg children to nap in, also if they have any storage. I have taken my own stroller each time with my son but he is now 3 and can walk to and from the parking lot. I loved having my stroller also for the storage, everything was shoved in there. :)

The strollers are a hard molded plastic. They don't recline. My DD6 said they were comfy to sit in with lots of shade. There is no storage basket--we placed our backpack on the top of the shade. Three of the parks have these strollers and one had a slightly different one(MGM I think). Also, I found it very easy to push especially considering it had been a while since I had done that.

I think around 3-4 ish is when we switched to a rental stroller it was convenient, you can move from park to park without paying twice and get a new one if it gets wet. They don't recline but they are easy to push!

However, if you already have one that is easy to fold, and carry, reclines for naps and comfy for your son depending on the length of your trip you can save some $$

Here is a great FAQ on strollers:

I thought about renting a stroller in WDW last year on trip with then DS4. But then I got to thinking, do I really want to carry him out of the park if he falls asleep? The convenience of having my own stroller was wonderful. I plan on doing it again this summer for our next trip. I found a lightweight umbrella type with canopy and basket. :
