Comfortable Crocs?

I must be weird, but I find my feet sweat a lot in Crocs, even in the dry N. California heat.

How does one wear socks with Crocs. I am wearing my Beach pair with a pair of peds and it looks awful! any recommendations for socks that don't show so much when wearing the Beach model of Crocs?

I agree with the previous posters- don't fall prey to imitation Crocs! Not only do they give less support, cause blisters, and scrape your skin on the rivets, they also wear through to the bottom of your feet on the soles. Never has that happened to me with a pair of REAL Crocs.

I wear the little anklets and yes, you can see them. But I have them in fun colors to match whatever I'm wearing. And again, my comfort and being able to spend 10 pain-free days in the parks is MUCH more important than whether or not they look goofy.

For those planning to order I got this free shipping code today from the Crocs website. frayedcroc608 it's good till june 12.

As for socks with crocs, yes I do wear them sometimes- especially when it is hot my feet sweat. Get the little no show socks but beware that the nubs on the footbed of the crocs will wear holes in your socks!

Holy COW!!!! I've NEVER had that happen! That's wild!!!!

Before our trip in April I bought a pair of capris and mary janes. I tried the mary janes first and got terrible blisters (I still have a scar). The capris were great - I think I'll buy another pair of capris before our next trip in November. I really wish the mary janes worked out though - I don't think the signiture dining restaurants allow flip flops :(

Hi,
another question about crocs with seeing everyone's feedback about different styles. How are the scutes for comfort? I'm not really crazy about the traditional clog style.

My family has the caymen style. The kids love them because they can put Disney jibbitz in them!!! We all wore them on our last trip...NO blisters here!!! :worship:

My mother in law recently bought both of my kids (7 & 5) a pair of crocs. My son is very picky about his clothing and shoes. He has textured issues but he loves his crocs. I am guessing that lots of kids where these to the parks. I was wondering whether or not I should make him wear his sneakers but from what I am reading it looks like he will be ok....I hope.

That is the type I am looking into. How many days did you wear them on your trip? Do you wear them the whole time? I am just wondering if they will last cause I have been reading that the caymen ones have a thicker soles. But I love the malindi style;) Do you wear them w/o socks?

I only wore them one day.
I normally wear them without socks, but that day at WDW, I thought I would be less likely to get a blister if I did wear the socks. They were great! :thumbsup2

BTW, I bought them at Dillard's, $29.99.
Some of the styles of Crocs seem to run large. Not the Malindi, I found them to be true to size in that style.:)

I bought some CROC Athens sandals about a week before we went to WDW and I wore them the week leading up the Disney. I wore them everyday but one and they worked out quite well, no blisters. Once i got home though my heels have been quite sore. Has anyone experienced this before?

Do the cayman's offer any ankle support? I have tendonitis in my ankle that creeps up on me, and would love to know if anyone else out there has ankle problems and crocs and if they have gone well together (or not!)

I have 3 pairs of the Croc flip flops with the canvas straps and one pair of the wooley ones. I absolutely love them. They're the only thing that I pack when going to WDW & since I've started wearing them my legs don't ache and my feet don't swell up either. It's great. I also bought one pair of the high heel dressier ones for work & I love them. I tried on some of the Mickey Crocs at the MK, but just didn't find any that felt exactly right for me. Mostly I buy mine at Bealls locally or directly from the Croc's website. :) :cutie:

With Crocs, I thought I read some home remedies or lotions that are available to prevent blisters. Anyone heard of these or know what I'm talking about? I plan on taking regular walking shoes and Crocs. I believe the Crocs would be more comfortable, but I'm worried about blisters...and I dont want to wear socks with them!!!

I don't like the traditional clog style either, my DH and I love our Scutes!!!! We have worn them on 2 trips now, in Sept. for a week of commando style park touring- when it rained on and off all day, and in May, neither of us ever got any blisters or had any feet issues!!

I don't think the malindi style is great for a lot of walking. I bought them and would wear them when we were heading out to dinner, or maybe on casual days to work. But with a lot of walking they caused me blisters on the sides of my feet. If you wore them with socks, they'd probably be fine...but I don't like the way socks look with these.

Thank you Eljay and Kristinlynn. I was afraid that about that cause I want to order only one pair ,so I guess no malindi :sad2: I will be going to The Brown Derby and I really don't want to wear caymen or beach. What would be a cute pair but I can wear all week for comfort? Is their a pair of crocs that can do both? Help:confused3
