Hi to all again! Ok, I've finally decided to book a room at the Comfort Suites since I stayed there in May and it was fine. If I win on Skyauction I can always cancel later but that weekend is booked everywhere else it seems! Anyway, I decided on a Double Queen room with the whirlpool bathtub. I talked to the lady at the front desk there about noise because as I understand it, it is near the elevator. (The king bed rooms are not near the elevator but there are 4 of us and the kids won't sleep together anymore so that's out.) Has anyone stayed in these queen/whirlpool rooms? And did you notice a lot of noise? They are room numbers -18 or -19 on each floor. I picked the 7th floor as we enjoyed it last time. I know there is an ice machine near the elevator too. Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you so much!!

Just back from vacation and wanted to comment on this room, we ended up staying here just 3 nights before moving on to WL. The room was exactly opposite the elevators which really scared me at first because the elevators are a tad slow and people mingle there and talk right outside the door. But the room was situated so the two queen beds are pretty far from the door with the bathroom just inside the door blocking some of the sound. We did hear a couple of people talking loudly late one night at the ice machine - just thankful I wasn't their neighbor full time lol! But other than occasional talking we heard very little. I should mention that we ran the air conditioner on fan constantly so that drowned out some of the noise. I slept like a baby! Beds were fine, immaculate room, nice towel creations! The whirlpool tub is very deep and a bit high to get into if you have trouble lifting your legs up higher than usual tubs. But this meant the tub was plenty deep, even for me who is pooh sized. There weren't many jets, I think there were 3. But it was enough to relax tired tootsies and my back. And the kids thought it was fun to play with the tub toys in bubbling water! One note - this is NOT an oval roman tub, it is a standard tub size only deeper. Also fyi this was considered a non-smoking handicapped room (no shower just the whirlpool tub). One nice perk is that this room is right across from the laundry room too (there is a door into it so it isn't loud) so if you are doing laundry you can even sneak over and check your clothes real quick in your pj's! Yes it is that close. We were exceptionally happy with our stay and will definitely be back. ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I'm glad you had a good stay. Sounds like the designed the rooms well to accomodate the noise factor. Sounds like the type of tub I have in my bathroom. It is really deep, and you really have to step quite high to get in and out of it.
