Comfort Suites Comparison?

Has anyone recently stayed at any of these Comfort Suites: Maingate West at 7888 West Irlo Bronson, the one on Turkey Road, or the one on Major Blvd? We've stayed at the one by Old Town. I've heard Turkey Rd is pretty run down- have there been any renovations in the past year or so? what are the ones on WIB and Major Blvd like?

I was recently in Orlando and stopped by the Quality suits on Canada Ave. I know you asked about comfort suites but I think thay are much alike. The hotel looked very nice with an average size pool and very clean. I think the rate for June was about $89/ night. Hope this helps. P.S. , A friend of mine stayed there two years ago and loved it.

Dh and I stayed at the Comfort Suites at 7888 West Irlo Bronson last year. It looked nice and new, and was right across a parking lot from a grocery store and several restaurants. We didn't use the pool but it looked pretty and well-kept. We didn't go to the free continental breakfast so I can't tell you what that was like (DH is low-carbing so no continental BF for him!).

The only negatives I noted were that the rooms were very dark (we just went to the grocery store next door and bought conventional light bulbs and removed the dim compact fluroescents--voila, the room was light enough!), and our particular room was very noisy. We could hear some kind of machinery switch on and off all night. Other than that, it was a decent place, and it was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave.
