Comfort Inn & Suites? good???

Does anyone know about the Comfort Inn & Suite at Cocoa Beach? We have a $50 coupon to redeem through expedia.com and this is one of the choices. Others are Hilton, Howard Johnson
Express (Dave's site says aginig), & Doubletree. I can get the Comfort Suites for $9 after coupon! Doubletree would be $29.
We are leaving for trip on Wednesday and I would like to book by tomorrow. But which one? We are family of 4.

I've driven by the Comfort Inn, but I haven't actually toured the property. It's only a block or two from Ron Jon's Surf Shop along a busy stretch of A1A. It looks quite promising from their web site. I don't think you could go wrong for $9!

FYI to others... I was just on the Cocoa Beach Comfort Inn's web site, and it looks like they're offering cruise packages with parking and transportation just like the Marriott Courtyard and Hampton Inn. I'm not really surprised since they do business with Art's Shuttle (www.artsshuttle.com) and Art's provides the transportation to the port for the Courtyard and Hampton Inn. I wonder if some of the other properties that Art's serves are also offering a similar package?

Dave--I have a question about the cruise packages. My friend has a room at the Comfort Suites the night before her cruise with the cruise package.

With the packages do they generally book one of these shuttles for your family according to when you'd like to be picked up, or are there shuttles running throughout the day and you catch the next one?

It's not a continuously running shuttle. There is a default time that they schedule you for. If you'd like to be picked up at a different time, you'll need to ask them for that modification to the arrangement.
