What can you tell me about this property? anyone stayed there?

Stayed there August 2004. I wanted to stay again this summer but the rates are much higher than last years. If you stay there make sure you get a room on the outside, not facing the pool. They have the music on real loud at night and I had trouble sleeping. When I was moved to an outside room, had no problem. The free breakfast consisted of bagels, toast, cereal, etc. Room was like most rooms in that area, a little wear and tear but otherwise all right to stay at. If you have any questions, just ask.

Cheers, buzz2400. Do you recall what the shuttles to the parks were like? Crowded or quiet? On time or late? Convenient for park opening times, etc.?

We never used the shuttles because we had rented a car so I don't know. Sorry about that.

I stayed here in 2002 when it was a Hampton Inn. It recently became a Comfort Inn.

No real problems with Hampton INn. ONe of the elevators was constantly broken back then, but we used the stairs anyway. We got an outside room (overlooking lovely Sand lake Road), but it was quick and easy to Universal.

The breakfast buffet was fine for free.

We stayed there in January of this year. A nice hotel although it is a little older. We stayed at an inside room by the pool, but at that time of year there wasn't that much problem with noises. Only thing we didn't really like was that the beds were just double beds, not queen. They were also very hard. We did have a microwave and a refrigerator in our room though. They advertise wireless internet, but it is through the TV and you have to pay for it. There was also a charge for local telephone calls. I'm not sure if that is standard in the Orlando area, but I work at a hotel in Branson, MO and local calls are free and so is wireless internet. Other than that, we had no complaints. Personel was very friendly and helpful. Didn't use the shuttle service though.

Have fun on your trip. :earsboy: :earsgirl:
