I keep reading really mixed reviews of the Comfort Inn LBV. I need your help!! My entire family (minus one sister and her kids) is going in November and what I need is a reasonably priced hotel that is clean. Those are the most important factors because some family members are on a more limited budget than the others and we are trying to stay in the same place. But, my my 3 year old has to stay in this room, so I need it to be clean. Thanks for any information you have. Of course, if you can recommend something, that would be great too. I really want to be close to Disney and LBV seems to be a good location.

Thanks a lot!! Sandra

Have stayed there three or four times with no problems. Its not fancy, but it was clean. If some in your party are sensitive to road noise ask for rooms away from the I-4 side. The location is really convenient. I seen some complain about the staff but we had no problems........their sign is visible from I-4 and I use it as an unofficial guide on how busy things are. If the $29.95 sign is up, the parks are usually deserted. If the $59.95 sign is up, things are humming everywhere. I'd stay there, and I don't think you'll be sorry, recognizing it for what it is---basic lodging...:smooth:

Ditto to what the above poster said. However, I would much rather bid on Priceline for a 3* hotel in the Disney area, for maybe $35/night. Anything over $40 is too much for CI-LBV!

If you have any PL questions, feel free to pm me! ;)

Thanks for the information! I think I am overpaying though! For a regular room, my parents are getting it for $59.95 for a couple of nights and then it drops to $49.95. We are getting the kid suites room and it is $67.50 then drops to $58.50 and that is with AAA for the kid suite. What is the deal?? I am afraid to use priceline because nothing can be cancelled or changed. I don't plan to cancel or change anything, but I would hate to lose all of that money if something were to come up. I have ordered my Magicard but haven't received it yet. I am hoping I can use it for a further discount but I don't know if they were honor that and AAA.

I've stayed there about 3 or 4 times also and will be staying there again in May. One thing I noticed is that they tend to adjust their rates during the week according to thier occupancy. Ive seen it as low as $29.99.

It's clean, pretty secure and in a convienient location. Well worth the price.

We just got back and I wouldn't stay there again. Our sink had a black ring around it which got worse with every day, we found blood on one of the comforters  and it took them an hour to bring us another one....it was VERY late at night and we had to get up at the crack of dawn. It is a very standardhotel. If you're on a tight budget it'll serve its purpose, considering it's so cheap, I guess you do get what you pay for.

I'm one who had a good experience at Comfort Inn LBV. We went in Dec of '03 and I was worried because of bad reviews I read, but we found it clean and well run. It's an older property and definitely basic, but my main concern was cleanliness, and they did a good job there. I also liked the security checking any cars coming in, and thought it was in a nice area. Thought it was a great value at $29.99, which they offered through "packages" on their website (although the only thing making it a package was a coupon book!). It was nice having a free continental breakfast, too. Good luck!
