please let me have your reviews on this place. I am thinking of staying there in august.

We have stayed here twice (another reservation has been made for our 3rd trip)

This place is perfect if you are not planning on spending much time at the hotel. It has a basic outdoor pool and basic hotel accomodations.
The location is GREAT and so easy to find!
The hotel is so close to all of the Disney entrances, Downtown Disney and lots of other dining options.

We enjoyed the free continental breakfast each morning.

If you are looking for more of a luxury resort, I would stay elsewhere. But if you are looking for a basic place to stay that is close to everything, this place will work great for you!

Happy Trip planning.

We have stayed there twice. Centrally located to everything. Close to alot of restaraunts. If you don't plan on spending alot of time at the hotel this one is perfect.

We drove by it on our last trip to WDW and was amazed how many people were outside using the pool. You can clearly see this hotel from the expressway and it looked like it was packed. A lot of people must stay there and be happy with it and it seems to be in a pretty good location. I think that if you look around you might find better places at some good prices. Try Hotel Kingdom.com and good luck.

Perhaps they've had some renovations since we stayed there in 1999. The place was dreary then, but by golly...it was cheap!

What do they offer at their breakfast?

Not much for the free breakfast, definitely at the bottom of all the Comforts I've stayed in.....cereal, toast, can't remember if they even had fruit. They do, however, have a full buffet which didn't look too bad for a very reasonable cost (less than $7?)....anyway - looked like one you'd pay $12 for easy at a Holiday Inn or the like.......

We stayed there once........many, many years ago. I believe it was 1988 and the place was brand new then!!! At that time it was a full buffet breakfast for free for everyone in the room. I don't remember how much the room cost, but, I know it was very inexpensive. We drove by there on our last visit and I think they may have expanded since our visit. I don't remember the place being so big. As a matter of fact when we stayed Palm Parkway had nothing yet. The Olive Garden was on the corner and then there was nothing until you got to the Comfort Inn and the other side of the road was nothing but swampy woods except for a Ramada on the corner across from the Olive Garden. I think that Ramada has been several different chains since then. Anyway, we enjoyed our visit back then.

Yes they had fruit when I was there. Also mini muffins.

My daughter just back from (2) days there last weekend. They stayed there Friday and Saturday before they moved over to Disney's Old Key West on our DVC points. She said it was fine for a few days. The room was clean, it had a frig. She said it was very convenient to shopping and Downtown Disney.

They will probably stay there again in the fall for a night or two before they move over to Boardwalk Villas on mom and dad's DVC points again (good old mom and dad - ha).

We had no problems. The room was nice and quiet( we were on thetop floor :guilty: ) We could see the castel from the top floor :cloud9: . The pools were nice the shuttle was bad. :crowded: :crowded: :crowded: :crowded: We had to stand holding my 1 year old and I was 5 mnts preg! Other wise no prob

Does the free breakfast have bagels and cream cheese?

I'm pretty sure this is the one we stayed at years ago. I remember they had security to enter. Then the lobby had a nice little store, an arcade and a restaurant. We were only there one night (we had a free night stay) so we did not try the breakfast. The room was nice and clean. I'm VERY picky but it was fine. Especially since it was free! :rotfl2:

We stayed there on Feb 24th- have been there before- the location is wonderful , very central to so much. The free breakfast included cereal, muffins, bread and toaster, small donuts, (no bagels, which i also looked for), a number of different juices, milk, coffee and tea, some fruit - if you upgrade to their regular breakfast for $5.95- your choices are much larger.

When the air conditioning is on, you can't hear the highway traffic, but if you are a light sleeper, request a room on the side facing Palm Parkway. While we were there, there were no available rooms, they are a highly used hotel for groups and families.

The rooms are comfortable, complete with small frigs, coffee makers and a microwave. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, then this fits the bill - if you are looking for a more luxurious atmosphere, then there are more hotels to choose from in the immediate area.

Have a wonderful vacation wherever you choose to spend it. :thumbsup2

When we stayed in November 2005, we ate the free continental breakfast some mornings (fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, small doughnuts, mini muffins).
and a few other mornings we upgraded to the $5.95 per adult breakfast.
(up to 3 kids eat free from the buffet with 2 paying adults) so my DD, niece and nephew at the buffet for free with us!
The buffet also had a mickey waffle maker!!!!

I suggest getting to the restaurant early as it gets PACKED
