Oh, well-this looks like the first time my waitlist didn't come through (not bad odds, though-it's come through the previous 4 times I used it). I was on the waitlist for either a BW view studio at BWV for 8/23 or go to BCV 8/23-26. Now, it looks like 1 nite in a PV studio, then move to a BW studio for 2 nites at BWV. I'm kinda disappointed, but it certainly won't spoil my trip!

Oh, just remembered-there's still hope at check-in!

1) We are waitlisted for a 2BD for VWL, BCV or BWV for Nov. 6-11. I really hope it somes through - but not too confident. Anybody think we still have a chance? Currently, we have a 2BD at OKW reserved. I have been on the waitlist since the 7 month window but dropped/added dates a few times since then in order to take advantage of good airfare prices (got $49 each way BDL-MCO x 7 - and I'm still talking about it!). Am I limiting our chances by having the whole stay on the waitlist? We don't want to change rooms for this stay so I didn't know how else to do it. Are there other possibilities?

2) Waitlisted for OKW Studio for Feb. 19 - feel confident that will come through.

3) Waitlisted for OKW GV for Feb. 19 - needs to be wheelchair accessible. Currently we have it for 2/20-25 We'd really like it for 2/18-19 also but wanted to maximize our chances of getting it for 2/19 so waitlisted for that date. Am I doing this all wrong?

As I posted earlier, we are waitlisted for a couple of days in December and a day in February. When the reservations were made, we specifically told MS to automatically add the days if they became available, because we knew we would be unavailable a lot this Fall.

Get home Saturday and there is a message from MS from Thursday, asking to call by Friday 5:30PM. When we called on Monday, they said there was no notation on either ressie to automatically add the waitlisted days, and couldn't even tell us which days may have cleared.. Very frustrating..

So, back on the waitlist we go ........

Well, that's frustrating to say the least. I too had them put me on an automatic list. I'm waiting to see if I can make the switch from BCV to BWV for my Nov 30-Dec 4 trip. Since I knew I would be traveling a lot in August into Sept., I had them do an auto switch..no need to call me, just do it. Now, I see that might not happen. Looks like I'll stay home when I can!!! But, I think I'm not going to get my hopes up for the change. I'll just be happy to be there at all.

mac-tlc......just read your post about the automatic waitlist and what happened. I had an automatic waitlist for one day (3/30) and just got my revised confirmation in the mail. I hope for some extra pixie dust for you and you get your days.....your experience would frustrate me too!!

Hi! I am waitlisted for a studio for a week mid Oct for either BCV or VWL! (I have SSR booked) I have been on the waitlist since July, but am wondering if I would have any better luck waitlisting for a 1 bedroom also? (or is it to late to start another waitlist? Would I be to far down at this point to try it?) Any advise would be appreciated! Thanks and good luck to all who are waiting!

As brand new DVC owners we are experiencing our first waitlist. All we need is one single day in a BWV standard view studio the night of January 9. I've reserved at SSR that night just in case, the rest of our stay is in a 1 bedroom boardwalk view at BWV. I didn't mind changing rooms, but it gets more complicated to have to change resorts as well, esp travelling with a one year old! Pixie dust please

So sad for us but hopefully happy for someone else! Job duties forced us to 'shave' the front end off our trip to BWV for Food and Wine! We released Nov 2 through 7 today and won't be able to arrive until the 8th. We are still waitlisted for Nov 10 (BWV) and 13(BCV) so I hope that something else frees us. We don't have reservations anywhere for those nights. I keep telling myself not to be disappointed (our first trip 'home') since I still have many years to enjoy!!! Good luck to all still waiting for a 'match'!

What do you do about air while you're waiting? AirTran has a sale that ends at 11:59pm tonight, but I'm hesitant to book the return flight for Oct. 10 since we don't have a room yet for the 9th.

Well, I called this morning to add a day to my reservation and was told that my waitlist came thru already!!!

Now I'm set for 3/26 - 3/30 in a BWV Std. View Studio!

Just gotta call back tomorrow to get the last night, but I've already been told it isn't avail right now so I'll have to get waitlisted on that one.

At least it would only be 1 move it for some reason it doesn't come available!

Good for you vascubaguy! I just called to be sure my request for SV stays because we're at the 30 day mark. No wonderful revelation for me, however, I did request a note that our 2 studios be close. I hadn't thought to ask that before.

I'm with you!!! I don't think I'm going to make it to BWV on Nov 30. But, being at BCV isn't so bad I guess. It was worth a shot.

I know that it's against the norm, but have you called them yet to check your status...maybe what number you are on the list?

While calling to add room requests back in June, I inquired about my waitlist and they told me that it had come through. Since I asked before they called, I have no idea if or when they would have called me.

I asked MS if they could tell me how long the wait list was and they told me that they don't have access to view the wait list, just put people on it. She said it's all handled "behind the scenes".
