I love all the flower and garden pics. The very first time we went to WDW was during F&G and I just thought it was how epcot normally looked.

I think you can certainly see how well, JJ is doing in the pictures. I am so happy for you both!

I was going to tell you in a few weeks that I am going to be at WDW 4/15 - 26 and I was wondering if I would be seeing you in the parks. But after reading that, it sounds like I shouldn't be looking for you. But hey, it's great that you'll have some time with your folks.

Maybe after the 22 we can arrange something?

We are excited for them to come visit! It's been nearly 3 years since my dad had his stroke, then brain surgery.

Got it. I figured the crowds were crazy. Poor JJ!! I know he'll still have a great time no matter what he gets to see or do!!

Loved all the new pictures. My favorite would have to be the one of JJ with the butterfly. Also will have to show Jeremy the pictures of Captain Hook! He'll love them!

He'll have almost all the days of SWW to go. We'll take it easy and pace ourselves. He's happy with anything Star Wars.

Is Jeremy interested in the topiaries?

I know that you're getting excited knowing that your parents are coming for a visit. Praying that your dad stays healthy and no issues come up while they are there.

Again, I loved the latest F&G pictures. JJ is getting around on that playground like a champ!

Yes, very excited!! Appreciate the prayers. They went to the doctor the other day and got notes for flying incase there are any issues. We know someone recently who has Cortical Dysplasia like JJ and the airlines would not let her fly after her mom requested to be seated next to her daughter in case she has a seizure. So my parents have a note that dad is cleared to fly and that he has a metal clip in his head.

Thanks. Yes, he is getting around much better. Today we went to a museum and he didn't need the wheel chair at all. We left it in the car. We were only there a couple hours and he did fine. He sat down a few times, then kept going. Brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart with how well he is doing lately.

How cool that a butterfly landed on JJ! Love all the pictures of the F & G festival, it was really nice to see it in person for the first time.

That's awesome that you got a chance to see the F&G festival first hand.

The butterfly didn't really land on him, it walked onto him. The poor thing had a injured wing from a child touching it.

He has been doing great! The best he's done for a while. He's getting around much better. Learning and retaining the information bettter.

We just found out Jeremy's teacher is going to be there at the same time so we're going to try to meet up with her and ride IASW or something like that. I just love his teacher that she would take time out of her vacation to meet up with a student!!

How fun that Jeremy is going to meet up with his teacher for a ride. It's great to have a teacher you love. Some of my greatest mentors growing up were my teachers. Even in adulthood I still kept in touch with some.

Did you find Jeremy's hero cape to take along? I hope so. Look forward to seeing pics. As you know from the pictures you already saw, JJ absolutely loved the super hero cape you sent him. Pictures up next!

Super Hero Cape​

Not too long ago on Judy's (blessedmom4) thread, there was a picture posted of Jeremy and his siblings with characters at Disney while wearing a super hero cape. I just knew that JJ would go nuts over a real cape after he loves the tissue paper cape made from tissue paper sent from Lisa (mommy2mrb). So I asked how I could purchase one for JJ. Sandra (ladylyons) worked some magic and yesterday a Star Wars super hero cape, personalized for JJ arrived in the mail! Thank you so much Sandra for working your magic.

The cape is made by Kiss the Toad Creations, a non-profit who's mission is to encourage and recognize children with life threatening illnesses by presenting them with their official super hero cape. They also have superhero celebrations at various Ronald McDonald Houses throughout the US.

Not knowing what it is, but seeing his initials on it.

Now he knows what it is.

I don't want to try to arrange any meet ups. I know dh would not be comfortable. However, if I know people are going to be in certain parks on certain days, I can keep my eye out for them. I think I've seen enough pics of JJ that I would recognize him in an instant.

No worries. Keep an eye out for us. With everything going on at the moment Monday nights have been our only time for Disney.

I know!! I keep thinking I need to pinch myself to see if I'm dreaming. The seizures have been non-existant, the meltdowns have been few and far between. He's had a few panic attacks that were pretty severe, but that's it! Life has really been good for us lately!

More Flower and Garden Pictures​

We made our way around to the American Pavillion before we stopped for a bite to eat.

The beef brisket, with collard greens and jalopeno corn bread sounded really good to me. That's what I went with. The rocky road mousse brownie intrigued dh so that's what he went with. JJ didn't want anything, he wanted to color a Perry. So we sat down at the tables near the Kidcot stop.

its pretty much gone now, sun has been out !

was a no school day already which was good, they would of probably had a 2hour delay.
