Thank you! We did have a great time last night at my father in law's church. The kids really enjoyed playing the games, the bouncy house and just having fun!

Thanks for posting the picture, Jackie. I'm so glad we were able to meet up and be a part of your trip. The kids had a blast. I still have some Star Wars stuff sitting on my dining room table to mail out to Trev. I'm so bad about getting snail mail out. It REALLY doesn't rain like that all the time here, I promise. Hopefully, it will work up to meet up again.

No problem! That would be great if we could meet up again. I know the kids would love it! I just don't know when we would be able to financially make it there! If we go back to Florida it will not be anytime close to hurricane season... I don't want to experience THAT again!!!

JJ has had some problems this weekend. The latest being laughing causing a throat tic which went right into hyperventilation. He is excited that he has two shows this month which means more practices. He knows his lines for both already, but not the blocking. Grandparents are coming for Thanksgiving. He can't wait to see them again, he is so excited. Another tooth gets pulled this month, he's not looking forward to that. Besides the dentist, he has multiple appointments each week for OT (he loves) and school work (he's not too thrilled about) too.

The two boys really hit it off great. JJ wanted so badly for the girls to join in the fun, but he was too over-the-top for them. They played shy at Disney, but definitely did not during hide and go seek at GKTW.

I understand, and I don't know when we'll ever make it out to the west coast. We couldn't even make it up the north coast to visit family this year. We'd love to fly out to Anaheim for the Star Wars Celebration.

Yesterday was the perfect day. There were no tics during the day and no seizures during the night. He did fine at voice lessons. He learned a song that was new to him from Oliver. And he knew all his lines for theater class. They did blocking and he had no problems at all. Dh and I took turns peeping in to make sure everything was going ok. And it was.

We went to the MK last evening too. It was the perfect evening to be in the park. The strong wind we had all day went away. The temperature was nice and cool. Perfect for JJ.

The last time we went to a park we didn't bother to use his DAS or go on any rides. DAS just wasn't working out too well. This time we gave it another go. It worked beautifully along with FP. They went to get a Buzz Lightyear FP and I went to get a return time for Enchanted Tales with Belle. The Buzz fp was for 6:20pm and the return time for Belle was 6:15.

This was the first time since passholder preview that we went to Enchanted Tales. JJ was picked to be Maurice.

On the way to Buzz, we stopped at Winnie the Pooh and got another return time. Buzz was fun as usual. JJ got 100,000+, DH got 600,000+ and I got 400,000+.

We ate supper at Pecos Bills. I thought I was hungry, but was only able to eat a fourth of my burger. Of course, I piled on those banana peppers. Dh ate half of my burger and he got chile cheese fries for himself. JJ got a kid's turkey sandwich minus the bread.

We arrived an hour late for our DAS Winnie the Pooh return time. Rode the attraction. JJ wanted to go home, so we headed to the ferry. Foot traffic was completely bottlenecked at several places. The electrical parade was going down Main St. and people kept stopping. We made it to the exit just after the parade ended. The ferry was packed.

DAS worked for JJ very well last night. I think him feeling better and the cooler temps really helped. MK was the park to avoid, however crowd level didn't seem very high. In fact, it seemed there were less people there last night than at any of the MNSSHPs we attended.

Poor JJ! Glad he's got a busy month and is excited for all that is coming up.

Girls can be that way at times. They tend to shy away from people they don't know and open up when they are ready.

He doesn't do too well with anticipation. I think part of Saturday's problems was that he knew he was going to see Les Mis at the theater and he was so excited for that. All day he checked the clock to see how much time there was before show time. His friend Z went with us too, so that added to the excitement.

Poor JJ. These tics have got to be scary for you all. How nice that he has such a fun month ahead of him.

It was so nice to have a break from tics yesterday. The severity of them have been so disruptive to his daily life.

Ten days away to move in day! If it doesn't work out for Thanksgiving, you should be in there by Christmas for sure!

Day 10: Part 2: Surprised by Chewbacca​

We parted ways. Trevor’s family had an itinerary for the day. We just winged it, with no plans, except a celebrity M&G at 1:55, until Trev’s big JTA.

After the parade we went to that vent that pours out cold air at One Man’s Dream and cooled off JJ. We looked at our air conditioned options and decided on the voice’s show. We got there late, but still got seated in the back of the theater.

Judging by the wooden chairs, we must have eaten at ABC Comissary. This picture is the only picture I have of lunch. This was taken while waiting for the food.

​

Once again, DH had gotten up early and stood in line for a celebrity fastpass. The shortest line was Billy Dee William’s. So that was where he headed. After lunch it was time for the M&G. I’m not sure what JJ and he talked about, but the two of them had quite a conversation going. He was so friendly. He signed the autograph as Billy Dee Williams Lando.

We spent some more time walking through stores to keep JJ cool. We found a pin board and they traded pins.

​

We did more walking around, going from store to store around the park. Just after leaving Tatooine Traders, Chewbacca spotted us and make hand motions for us to come over to him! I can’t begin to tell you how excited JJ was that Chewbacca was summoning us. He motioned for us to come right to him. The cm opened the ropes and we went right on in. There were hugs and high fives all around. Talk about Disney magic and pixie dust!

Wow! That was pretty incredible. Certainly a moment that we’ll never forget!​

It was now time to head over to JTA to watch Trev. Would the rain continue to hold out?

Did I tell you that JJ has a performance while you're here? Unfortunately Dh works that night and Grumpy won't get out of school in time to go, otherwise I'd see if we could work it out to send someone to get you and Megan to see the play and take you back.

He loves the characters. It's his favorite part of Disney. So often we have to skip them because they are out in the heat. I love that Disney has added more air conditioned M&G in the parks. The new one at AK with Mickey and Minnie is very nice.

Well our dates have changed so that we are going to move in on November 29. Two weeks later than originally arranged. It's all good. Everything is new and beautiful!

He has not done Mad Libs, but I'll have to look for the Star Wars ones. No, we don't have them. That would be a good fun way to review what he's been learning in Language Arts. He's learned nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs.
