Come on, you know you have one....

People when they are eating that drag their teeth over the fork. Or popping gum over and over while chewing. (not bubble gum)

My biggest pet peve...

When things are on a dinning room or kitchen table. Ie: any thing but the dishes and food and as soon as everyone is done eating I will immediately start to clear the table. :teeth:

Omg, this is my worst pet peeve ever. I HATE that. I know so many people that do it, too. Ugh.

I too, can't stand water spots. On the vanity, counter, floor..winter in Chicago drives me crazy w/all the slop carried in from snow. And this one is REALLY weird, I know...but if I seesomeone's eyelashes are curving the wrong way (usually my own)y'know, curving over the eye or sideways instead of up....I admit, how trivial is that...but it bugs me!

Pam

Ice chewing. I chew it all the time (I know I shouldn't), but I can't stand to hear other people chewing.

My husband goes balistic when he seems someone parked in front of the supermarket with their flashers on. It's not a parking place, but since they have their flashers on, it's okay. This goes for just about anywhere that isn't a parking place, but people park there and turn on their flashers. He can't stand it.

OK, this one is really strange I know, but...

Bare-footed babies in public. I don't know why but it drives me nuts. I always put shoes and/or socks on my babies when we were going out.

I work in a building here in the DC area that has 13 floors I work on the 12th floor. The first level is L and the second level is P and the other floors are 2-12. We what irks me to no end are people who work on the P level and will catch an elevator to the L level and vice versa. Usually its (no offense) Army people and they are in their PT gear. It flames me. I'm in the Air Force and we are the most laid back of all of the services and I would walk up and down one flight of steps. It just burns me up.

holiday decorations being left up long after the holiday. Why can't people open their front door and take down the dead brown wreath. It just drives me crazy!

People who say they feel BADLY instead of feel bad. You don't feel happily or sadly, and you don't feel badly.

I once wrote to Dr Phil and asked him to please stop saying he felt badly, and that, no, I did not want to discuss why this bothered me so much

Nose hair

I swear, it makes me sick. I have the hardest time looking at people who don't trim it up.

Hearing people eat popcorn in a movie theater. It really annoys me (even though I'm eating it right along with them). :p

Let's keep the car theme going - people who drive with their blinkers on. Makes me absolutely nuts to be behind someone like this. How do you not hear the ticking noise of a blinker?

DH calls them "Blinkin' Idiots"

Or when you are stopped in traffic, with nowhere to go, and someone honks their horn,--- like you can sprout wings on your car and fly over this traffic jam.

My mom tends to think shes the worlds greatest singer...hitting high notes...doing all those crazy things with her voice...the only problem is...she's never on key/pitch/tone WHATEVER!
And she sings LOUD. And then, I'll be singing and she'll join in and when the song is over tell me how good we sound together...
It seriously makes me go NUTS. Now I am not the worlds best singer, but I can keep a tune. It also drives me nuts because if she doesn't know the words, she will make them up...
Haha ok so it's technically a peeve with my mom, but I have friends who do it as well, and I see people in my store do it all the time!

The worst to me is the loser that drives 50 in the fast lane on the turnpike. 2nd is the ones that completely stop in the ez pass lanes. The sign says 15 not stop.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves. I commute down the Parkway to school and I HATE when slow people are in the left lane.

Or even worse, when people from the right lane get into the left lane to pass a slow car, and then never get back over! I'm getting frustrated thinking about it.

Come to think of, most of my pet peeves have to do with drivers on the Parkway. I can't wait to graduate and not have to drive down it so often.

ok here are a couple .

I really hate to see people with their hands or fingers in thier mouth ( YUCK so you know for sure what you have touched ?)

People who handle food when you are out to eat and then touch cash .

NO Iam not a germ-a-phob LOL

Ugh this happened to me at Wendys. The cashier took my money and put it away, handed me change...Then proceeded to walk over to the frier and scoop my fries. Ok a little sceevy, but not too bad, right? Yeah well...she overfilled it and fixed them WITH HER HAND....
Needless to say, those fries went right into the garbage!

OOH! Now I know what mine is!

I hate it when people sing loudly in public, whether they're good or not, as if they're begging for compliments (or change, who knows?) There is this chick at work (she quit, yea!) who sings really well, but we will be working & she will just come stand in front of us and do all this Christina Aguilera (sp?) nonsense with her voice. I just want to say... "Do you want a cookie?" It is one thing to hum quietly to yourself. I'm caught doing this at work all the time (I can't sing worth crap). But these people who think they're going to get "discovered" or something in a bathroom or the grocery store? Please.

I think there should be some sort of international signal for "Your turn signal is on, dummy!" Maybe something similar to the very first part of the Adventurer's Club salute (the swimmy hand part!) but performed up at eye level ;)

It drives me nuts when people say "ATM Machine" M *stands* for Machine! You're going to the Automatic Teller Machine Machine? Arrgh!

The fork on the teeth thing drives me nutty, too!

Ooh ooh ooh! I just thought of another one! The overuse of "lol"! It normally doesn't bother me, but when you read something like "I went to the store today-lol! We got green beans and lettuce LOL! They were even on sale LOL!" Arrgh!

One of my biggest pest peeves (and there are many) is when people say "irregardless". There is no such word! They mean "regardless". It's like nail on a chalkboard!
