Combining Snack Credits?

Does anyone know whether it's possible to combine two snack credits to get a slightly more expensive snack? (For example the dole whip float, rather than just the dole whip?) I know you can do this for some things (like 6 rather than 3 beignets at POFQ), but is it a common practice at most snack places around the parks?

We had no problem getting the pineapple or root beer floats with a single snack credit. Several of our snacks went over the old $4 boundary.
I have never heard of combining snack credits to get a larger item. Even with the beignets, you're simple using 2 credits to get 2 orders (a double order).

You won't be able to do this. As the PP said, there are some things that cost a bit more that still count as a SC but on credit = 1 item in that category. It is the same as not being able to use 2 CS for a TS. What you may be able to do, depending what it is, is to use a CS credit for a bigger "snack" but it's not always a good use of a credit. What did you have in mind? Maybe some folk on here can help out with possible solutions.

Thanks for the quick replies! I'm glad that you can get the pinaple float with one credit, I was hoping to pull that off. I didn't have too many other specific situations in mind where I wanted to combine credits, but I just know my DH and I will probably have a bunch to use up (on the DXDP) and looking at menus, there are a bunch of things around the the 5 or 6 dollar point that look a bit tastier. I was hoping to be able to get the make-your-own pretzle rods or caramel apple at Goofy's Candy Co., but I may just have to splurge and go OOP for that one :)

Well you might actually be in luck. Goofy's make your own treats is the one thing you can spend a double snack credit on. I forgot about this. However there has been an incredible degree of inconsistency in reports of what you can and can't do there (although the policy seems more stable lately) with your snack credits so I would suggest 2 things:

1. Get confirmation from someone who has been recently
2. Ask BEFORE you start making unless you accept that you may not be able to use a snack credit there.

I found this thread. Started in March, but it has made a comeback to the front page. It may answer some of your questions based on actual experience. Last time I was there was April last year.

Happy snacking :goodvibes
