Combining Points

If you would like to combine points with a friend/relative to get a larger room (let's say a 2-bedroom or a GV), is this possible? Or does one of the two need to "give" the other his/her points and make the ressie?

You have two options, you could have one person make a few nights in the room, and then have the other person make the remaining nights. Just tell MS what you are doing and have the ressies "linked", or

you could transfer all the points into one person's account and have them make the entire ressie.

The only "combining" stipulation is that you cannot "share" points for a single night. If a gv takes 30 points for one night....all 30 points for that night must come from a single account....you cannot combine points for a single night.

The third option is in between and that is make separate reservations then link them. IF you need to combine points for a single night, just transfer those few points to one or the other. If this were multiple points of a single owner you could even combine banked and borrowed points (even if totally separate contracts), you could ask for that option in this case and I wouldn't be surprised if they allowed it.
