Combining points and cash in 1 resv??

Is it possible to reserve a room for 5 nights, and use points for 4, and cash for 1 night? Is this one reservation, or two? Is there a chance of having to move for the last night?

Okay - now, I'm dreaming, but I need to ask...can a night be split between points and cash? For example, the reservation "costs" 100 points, and I have 98... can I make up the two points in cash?

If not (assuming that I don't want to borrow from the next year) how do I keep my 5-night reservation?

You can only reserve whole nights with points. If you are short of enough points for the entire reservation, you can reserve nights for cash thru MS. There is sometimes a 25% member's discount available (not always). If it's booked thru MS, it will be linked as one and you will not have to move. If the cash night is booked thru other Disney sources, you might have to move (but not always).

If you are short a few points you can also borrow enough from the following Use Year to conplete your reservation.

You can combine cash nights & points nights but not both for the same night. If you reserve cash nights through member services, they guarantee you will not move. If you reserve cash nights through CRO, they will note it but not guaranteed (probably will not have to move).

You could rent 2 points from another member and have them transfer them into your account.
