Combination of DDP and OOP?

On our upcoming trip, we will be having two guests join us for one of our meals. We are on the dining plan but they will not be. Are we going to have a problem putting five meals on the DDP but paying OOP for the others? We are eating at Via Napoli and I heard they are pretty strict about things dealing with the DDP, are they going to give us any problems?

Also, this is our first time on the dining plan, are we going to have any problems ordering appitizers, even though they are not included in the plan, and paying for them OOP?

Yep you'll be fine. Anyplace will be glad to split the check for you. They won't get strict unless you try to use your DDP to buy them meals.

Your key card will specify how many meals are in the DDP. You can ask the restaurant to charge up to that many meals on the plan. Any other extra meals can be charges OOP to your key or to a credit card.

We did it in many restautants, like Nala says split checks, we never had a problem.
