Columbus Day Weekend --- No extended MK hours???

So I am planning during this weekend and looking historically at the numbers on TP.

2014 - Saturday: MK EMH until 3am Sunday: MK - 1am
2013 - Saturday: MK until 1am (not listed as EMH) Sunday: MK EMH until 3am
2012 - Saturday: MK until 12am Sunday: MK EMG until 3am

Why for 2015 are we seeing tentative schedules from the planning sites as a 10pm closing rather than a later closing? I am guessing they are playing conservative?

Any insight would be helpful! TIA!


PS --- that would suck if your 180 days booking time is an EMH night at 3am.

We were there Columbus Day weekend in 2012 and the hours were extended closer to October...maybe August or something? I only remember because it was my birthday that weekend and I told DH the only thing I wanted was that we close the park. Which he agreed to when it was earlier then later on they were extended to 3am and I held him to it.

The calendar was just published and will change many, many times before October.

Yep, they'll extend the hours later. I think July or August makes sense, if I remember correctly. We almost always go during this time of year and that's the normal operating procedure. They'll post regular hours and then extend them.
