Columbus Day Weekend.....am I crazy???

We are thinking of a "quickie" Orlando trip in October...Columbus Day weekend....to celebrate a 16th Birthday. Will Universal/IOA be crazy-busy with the long weekend?? Nothing worse than only having a few days in the parks, and spending most of it standing in line!

I don't think it's busy during the day however being a weekend, it will be busier than during the week. The parks close an hour early on the weekends in October for HHN so plan accordingly. Your 16 yo will LOVE HHN..try not to miss it!

We went last year on Columbus Day weekend and that Sat. was so crowded you could not ride anything. I think the wait for Dud;ey Do Right's water ride was close to 2 hours. BUT that Sunday, the crowds were much more manageable. Hope this helps.
