Yes, we started back the end of July. We get the first two weeks of October off! It's great for us, but WDW is not as uncrowded as it once was this time of year.

I originally thought I was picking a low crowd time (Oct 13-21) but have since learned many schools now run year-round and this is a prime break time for them. Oh well, I did intentionally start my trip after Columbus Day. We usually go the Friday after Thanksgiving into the first week of December and love the crowds once Thanksgiving week is over. I hope this isn't too much different.
What about MNSSHP the 17th? Any speculation on attendance?
Aren't some the Florida area schools making up days during Columbus Week that they missed due to the hurricanes? Crazy Kanga- Are ya'll in the Madison County School District?
