Does anyone know why it hasn't reopened yet? I find it odd as it is huge with 2 floors and social distancing is very possible. Also, they have some of the best food in MK. Thanks

No idea but I've been back to WDW twice since it reopened and I keep checking. It is a family favorite of ours!

Way back in the beginning, I heard that it's being used for cast members to take breaks - I'm assuming because their usual space is not large enough for them to social distance.

I also read somewhere, maybe Disney Food Blog, that it was being used by CMs as a break area.

Wherever you read that, I read it there also. I figured that as long as there are COVID issues, like masks and extra cleaning, CHS will remain closed for the CMs to use.

It is being used as a break room for cast members, which is the reason it isnt open.

I'm bummed about CHH not being open. We always wind up eating there at some point.

Not to go off-topic, but is there any word about Casey's? That's another one we like, and with outdoor seating, it would be nice. But maybe they're worried about it adding to crowds in the hub area?

Most likely another social distancing issue. More eateries though = more folks spread out. I understand it is a good place for CM's to take a break (I cannot even imagine), but they really do have great food.

They may be using it for breaks, but that doesn't mean they won't change that at any time. ABC commissary in HS was being used for CM breaks until it wasn't when they wanted to reopen it.
