It has shallots (a bit milder than onions) tarragon, parsley, diced red peppers and celery and a lot of mayonnaise. I don't know if they have a version without the shallot!

funny, it made me feel sick, lol. But I'm in new england. I just had lobster roll without the roll for dinner and this is what it looked like. Lobster, tiniest bit of mayo, salt and white pepper. That's it.

Don't get me started. If you're from New England the probability of being disappointed with the lobster roll at CHH is very high, and this applies to the clam chowder as well. Guess we're a little spoiled.

I always wondered if they got kettle cuisine, which is the standard bagged chowder around here and not half bad. of course.... you learn where the fresh, homemade chowder is but kettle cuisine is pretty decent too!
But yeah when I saw the picture of a CHH lobster roll that did it for me. Even on DDP I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. The list of ingredients made me But I'm sure there are lots of people from various regions who feel the same about other things at WDW.
this is at an italian place my son LOVES and I don't eat carbs, but it's seaside so of course they have lots of (mostly fried) seafood in addition to the italian specialties... but they are willing to do their lobster salad over a salad and it was sooooooo good. They don't do the hot buttered lobster rolls but they are becoming more popular now at the true seafood places.

Lobster snob. That is not a lobster roll without the roll. It's lobster with salad and a side of dressing. Sounds delicious though.
"shallots (a bit milder than onions) tarragon, parsley, diced red peppers and celery and a lot of mayonnaise" sounds great to me except for the "lots of mayonnaise" part. I think that is the Achilles heal of the lobster roll at Columbia Harbour House.
So for the flatlanders like me who have had good Maine Lobster I didn’t think the lobster roll at CHH was half bad. I’m not a lobster snob. I buy and eat what sounds good to me. Sometimes I hit it sometimes it’s a miss but for wiw CHH is a good QS location
I thought the lobster roll had too much mayo, but tried their shrimp wedge salad and loved it. The romaine is sliced length wise and topped with nice sized cocktail type shrimp (and a fair amount of them) and a mango salsa. It was so refreshing on a hot day.
Lobster roll=lobster, butter, roll. I like Columbia Harbor House, but they serve a version of a lobster salad, not a lobster roll. If you like it, great!
