colour schemes?

We are doing turquoise and fuchsia. I love bright pink but DF said there is no way he is wearing pink for any occasion and I know the girls would wear pink to make me happy but I can't do that to them...so turquoise dresses and bright pink flowers. My flowers will be bright pink and I will have pink shoes but everything else turquoise is the main color

I've wanted these colors since I was younger and stuck to them! Victorian lilac with charcoal gray and silver

Even though we are having an October wedding, we are HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fans and black and gold is what we wear. I look like crap in gold, so yellow it is!

(We both went to the University of Florida..Go Gators!) We had small accents of silver to finish it off (silver ribbons around the flowers for the wedding party, silver bowls for the centerpieces, etc.)

Our main colour is a dark purple. Our reasoning behind this: I LOVE chocolate but didn't want brown so we went for "cadbury purple"

I'm quite partial to a cadbury's Dairy milk bar so its perfect. Also both bridesmaids will hopefully be ok with this choice.

Other colours to go with the purple are light pink (my bouquet etc) and silver (at home reception decorations etc)

I think we're having red, black, and white too!!! DF and I are both from the University of Georgia (school colors- red and black) and we're both HUGE Atlanta Falcons fans (colors- red and black) so the whole red and black theme just fit

Thou... Is it kind of weird to have red and black for a spring wedding? I never know if the color scheme really has to go with the season...

As a bride who is also picking colors partially based on the love of a football team, I say go for it!!!
Personally, I would rather be able to tell a personal story on why we picked the colors we did rather than just say: "well... it went with the season!"

Go UGA & Falcons!! (even though DF is a HUGE Bucs fan, we still cheer for the home team)

When we do our vow renewal next year, it's going to be very, very small but if I get to choose a color scheme I'm going with turquoise and black.

Our VR colors are deep purple (sort of eggplant, i guess), deep aqua and silver. There are so many beautiful ideas out there for color schemes, it was really hard to make up my mind.

Our wedding is an under water/ ocean type theme since it's going to be in the Living Seas Salon and ceremony at SBP. I have done our invitations in what will be our base colors - navy/cobalt blue with apple/moss green accents. I love orchids and wanted to incorporate more 'color' so I chose to do the BMs in cobalt blue dresses, with green flowers and my bouquet will be fuschia phalaenopsis orchids since those are my favorite. I may incorporate pops of yellow and orange to give hints of the underwater 'fish' vibe. Our cake will be white with a few green and fuschia orchids. Our centerpieces (on our blue and green tables) will be of fuschia orchids to tie in the green blue and fuschia! I had a hard time deciding on colors -- this works best for matching what colors we like (my favorite and DF favorite) while also tying in with the tropical vibe.

I know you are looking for other yellow influences, but HTH!

When we were planning on October we were going to do black/red with a hint of white but now we're doing April and it seems way too dark so we're tweaking it. We're planning on blush pink, various shades of white/cream, red and black..my dress is champagne and I don't want to clash with just white I was going to post a mosaic I made a few weeks to better explain because I know it sounds busy, but I think the pic is way too big
