Colorado Cruisers

That is good that a Del Taco is going in there, but I really miss Tomkats. That was our favorite place for dinner.

Quote from jiminyC fan: Ok Black Unicorn, how do you post 2 quotes on one post? I have wanted to respond a few times like that but I don't know how. I know how to do it the first time by hitting quote on the bottom of the other persons post but then how do you do it a second time?

I'm a wizard. :wizard: No, I cheat! I write my reply in WordPerfect, grabbing a quote whenever I come across one and typing “Quote from (name):” in front. Then, when the whole reply is ready, I click on “Reply” and cut and paste. The quotes are done by using the quote function that’s on the “Reply” control panel–it looks like a piece of paper with writing on it–and copying the text I want to show as a quote.

Quote from Mickey02: Hi Blackunicorn, nice to talk to someone so close to home! Disney store!! I would love to work there. Which one do you work at? I miss the Disney store so much here. Why did they close them? Will they ever bring them back?

I work at Park Meadows most weekends. As for why the store in the Citadel closed, I don’t know anything official other than there was a problem with the lease. I heard that due to various factors, the powers-that-be didn’t renew the lease quickly enough, and the Citadel had already leased the space out. I also heard that, because Disney was trying to sell the Disney Stores, it couldn’t incur any extra debt, so a new lease was out of the question. I’ve been told that The Children’s Place is eager to expand The Disney Stores, and to look for a new one in the Springs within the next year, but I honestly haven’t heard anything definite in that direction. I love my job, but now that I don’t get a discount at the theme parks, it’s getting harder to rationalize the commute. :sad2:

Quote from Jrsy Boy: That's funny because I bought my set used and there was a pile of cash on page 42! What a strange coincidence. ;)

Hey! No finders, keepers here, bud! :rotfl:

Hey Guys...

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post again. We had meant to buy the unlimited access, but never got a chance and then it wasn't worth getting. We are at the Courtyard Marriot right now and have a 6:00am flight home tomorrow. It'll be so much fun waking the girls up at 4:00am tomorrow :earseek: I'm going to start working on my trip report when we get home and Nick downloaded over 1,000 pictures for me to go through. I hope I took enough

Our trip was wonderful, just like the weather. We did see DCLcruiser at the sailaway party, but that was the only chance we got to see him. We did catch the end of the Wild and Haines show and they were great. I wish we would have seen the whole thing. They did have two other acts that we caught at the adult time which were really good. I'll have to look at our Navigators to see their names.

We did catch some of the Hitchhikers Guide last night and I'll have to say I was very disappointed. We sat through about the first hour and a half last night and I finally had to leave. Didn't want to miss the Till We Meet Again party for that

Only problems we had was one of our bags got left at the port when our limo :earboy2: picked us up this morning. Since it was a carryon, there was no name tag or anyone (and it was the one that had ALL our souviners) Security already picked it up and it got put on a Disney bus to the airport. Nick just left to go get it, so hopefully nothing is missing. Other than that, everything was great. Great servers, room attendents, weather and met some great people through our DIS meet.

Anyways, I'll let you guys know when I finish the trip report.

Finally found the glow-in-the-dark necklaces today in Castle Rock at the outlets. $1.29 each. Also bought a 24 pack of "nuptial bubbles" for the sail away party.

Only 18 more days! :Pinkbounc

Girl toys or boy toys?
:rotfl2: and you think you are so funny!!!!!!

Teresa - Did you get your bag back with everything in it? Hopefully all your souveniers are still there.

Cristi - they are putting in a Petsmart,a Pet Hotel, and I think a sporting goods store where the Old KMart was.

Hey Heidi - Yes... we did get it, thank God. Disney was great about working with Nick. We didn't have any tags on it because we carried it off the ship. He ended up having to go to the airport by shuttle to get it, but everything was fine. I didn't let that bag out of my sight the rest of the trip ;)

Good Morning

Thought I would check in. Had a fun Saturday taking a Disney Cruise scrap book class. Spent Sunday sick with the flu. I am still trying to get over being sick.

Blackunicorn I wish wish wish we would get a Disney Store back here! I miss it so much. Every time I went into the mall first thing I would go into the Disney store. Helps get my "Disney Fix"

I used the money to pay for a WDW/DCL vacation for me and my family, but if you want it back, I'll just cancel our vacation. :sad1: :guilty: I'm sure DW and DS8 will understand...

Hey all! just wanted to stop in and say hey! Hope all is well. Tereasa, welcome back. Can't wait to hear details...I'm glad you had a good time and got your bag back. Stressful! All is well here. Just started a muraling project for a client on 104th ave (I'm in Highlands Ranch). I feel like I drive more than I paint! Having fun reading your posts! Take care,

Hi everyone,

Been very busy with a very sick FIL. He is hospitalized at Lutheran right now.

Welcome home Teresa! Tell us all about it!

Jen, that is some drive. My SIL lives at 120th and Colorado Blvd and I hate the drive. We live South as well.

JrsyBoy, only 16 days to go. Bet you guys are going crazy. Never thought about the outlet stores for the glow necklaces. Glad you found them.

Barb, Disney Cruise scrapbook class sounds perfect for the two of us! Did your mom go?

So how is the Panama Canal cruise going? SOOOOOO jealous of everyone on there, wish I could be there!!! Hey if there is a Del Taco there, I might just have to meet you there. ;)

Jen - That is a long drive, especially if you are taking I-25, yuck I feel sorry for you having to drive all the way up there.

Teresa - I am glad you got your bag back, have you wrote your trip report yet? What was your favorite part of the cruise?

Jrsy Boy - I am still up for adoption if you want to add me to your cruise!! :goodvibes

Barb - Are you going to teach me how to scrapbook? I just remembered I have to email you the babyshower stuff......back to work!!!

Believe me, there is already a line of "alternates" in case anything happens to one of us. :sad2:

Morning All!

Heidi- I would Love to teach you to scrap book. It was so fun working on Cruise stuff but boy do I want to go on a cruise!!!!!

Jrsy boy- Are you going on a cruise in 16 days or to Disney? I am sure it is on this thread somewhere but I am trying to cheat here. The reason I am asking is because my boss is going on a cruise in 16 days.

Sandy- Pixie dust to your FIL

DCLcruiser - I want to hear all about your trip too :cool1:

We arrive at POFQ in 15 days. We're doing the land/sea package, so we don't get on the ship until June 5.

Well, after some recon work in Curacao there is no Del Taco...however there is a McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut. :cool1:

The cruise is going smooth to my eyes. There were some bumps during the way however all around it is a good cruise. You can not imagine the amount of repeaters here.

For all those folks playing Murder Mystery @ home...I hate to tell you, but Ben is dead :guilty:

Curacao is extremely hot...we have an overcast right now and still sweating. When we pulled in it was crazy. There is a floating bridge that takes your from one part of the island to another. When a ship pulls in, the bridge swings open like a door to let the ship in.

Any how, couple more days and we will be in Panama.

I will be watching you on the webcam!!! Dang I heard about the Murder Mystery, didn't realize you could play it from home....I would have loved to have done that!!!

Oh wow, you can play it from home? That would have been fun. Always a couple days shy of fun!

DCLcruiser, if it is hot in Curacao now what will it be like in Aug?? Oh my, I guess a beach excursion would be best! Any helpful hints on excursions? We heard about the jammies party for the pins on this repo cruise. Must have been a sight!

Jeez Heidi, you are always trying to be adopted out on this thread. Aren't Dad and I doing a good job? lol
