Teresa - you got snow?????!!!?? Dang, we had maybe 1/2 inch and it was all melted by the rain!!!

All it did here was rain, I am glad I got a large portion of my Hallowe'en decorations up before cold weather hit.

I have to work today and maybe tomorrow when it warms up I can finish the decorations.

It was so weird how that storm worked, our friednd (another DISer) also lives in the Springs and I think she got snow.

Heidi - We got about 11 inches of snow, if not a little more. I had heard Castle Rock got more. I'm not quite ready for snow till November, so I hope we don't see that again for a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the welcome, we cruise in December, I can't wait. My parents get to get away from the snow back home and we'll probably get away from the sun here I really do like Colorado winters.

We're from Canada so I can tell you we like when the snow melts by noon and we don't have to shovel.

Oh yeah, hubby bought a pirate costume at the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur. I figure that next to him the girls and I will look like poor relations

It was at the Temple Events Center downtown, but was sponsored by the Tattered Cover. It was way oversold. Had I known, I wouldn't have bothered. Sent DW & DS9 home at 9:10 and finally got my book signed at 10:15.
