That was something I was thinking about earlier today as I was cleaning house..lol.. Then I went to previous swaps and I have seen them both ways. I think for me personally I like the ones from this swap, simple, elegant and not over the top..And they can be used for pretty much anything. So I would say they need some embellishment but nothing major.
Those were very nice indeed.
There is no need to use brads or eyelets just to added them. If they make your element look finished, than by all means use them. But if you are just trying to make the embellishments work, don't. That's my vote.
I won't be online tomorrow either - if there is more interest and you end up opening another group I would certainly take another spot. No worries if not though.
Enjoy your son's visit and your trip to Disneyland!
I think fairly plain and elegant looks best - after all, people can always add more stuff if they feel the page needs it. Goody goody, time to go shopping for trimmings again....er...... ummm... I'll get on with planning!
I'd like to change daffodil to Wood (think shades of brown) please. I'll make the metal embellishment difficult to find, but I have this awesome parchment type paper that I'd like to use with textured brown. Thanks.

I wasn't going to join any more. But, I am all caught up and it is a long time from now... so if I could (and if I don't knock anyone else out...) could I have the beach in group 7. (Think blues/tans) Thanks!
