As this is a holiday date in US - wondered whether there are discounts at the malls? Anybody had experience of this holiday last year or years before?

We were there over Columbus Day last year and I did get a few emails for special offers from Orlando sites I had subscribed to for that day. We didnt really go shopping aside from one day offsite so I can't tell you what there was or even if it was worthwhile. Have you posted on the budget board? Those folk will give you a very quick heads up on what to look out for and where.
