Next month I am taking my dd to WDW on vacation. We were wondering if there is some place she can go to get more information and talk to someone in regards to the college program while we are there.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You could stop by Casting, but my guess is they'll just give you some information to read. Maybe somebody knows more about this than me.

But, if you've going to be in the neighborhood it's worth the visit to Casting to walk up that hallway and see part of Disney not a lot of guests ever see.

Enjoy your vacation!

Earlier this month, I traveled with 3 ladies for F&W fest. We all have college age children and are all hoping they do the college program. We spent a lot of time talking to CM's who were in the CP. While we didn't get any "official" information, we did get some great insight into the program.

While I was there earlier this year (March) I looked for people who had colleges listed on their nametags and talked to them. They were very helpful and told me a lot about CP life and such. I mostly talked to Merchandise CM's because they were easiest but while I was on line for Soarin' there was a girl from a university and I spoke to her as well. All were nice and very helpful!

Over the past year I've just asked the CP's about it. You can usually tell which one's they are because their nametags have the college they attend listed on it, as opposed to their hometown. In my experience they've always been willing to provide insight and answer most questions you have about the program. I say most only because I tried to keep most questions very basic as to not hold them up from doing their jobs, the most in depth questions I've asked on here or other forums.

I agree with the above posts, definitely talk to CPs you see working in the parks and in your hotel. That's how I found out about the program to begin with when I was in 10th grade in high school. On a trip with my family, we began noticing how so many cast members had their colleges on their nametag, which we thought was a bit weird. We finally asked two girls working in a store about it, and they immediately launched into a good 20 minute speech about how I had to do the program. In fact, one of them offered to go to casting with me that day, but I had to tell them I had to wait a few years to do the program. We spoke to a lot of people after that who were CP's, and they all gave me really good information and tips about the program... 4 years later, I'm finally going!

You can also drive by the apartments. You can't go past the gate but you can atleast see what they look like and the surrounding area. While I was there this past weekend, I went by Chatham and Patterson.

Can you tell me where casting is?

Congratulations!! My dd is in her senior year in high school and she would love to take part in this program. I will have her watch out for the college name tags and talk to everyone she can.

Unfortunately, we won't have a car. I did see a google map of them before though. Looks like a nice place.

Thanks so much everyone for all the info.

Just talk to Cps around the park. When i worked there I was more than happy to give insight into the program and answer questions. Its always good to talk to more than one Cp and in many different areas. That was how I decided to apply for the program in the first place. Most people are very friendly and we would rather talk about the program than answer for the hundredth time where the bathroom is lol.
