hey guys! I'm a campus rep at my university and I can try and help clear the air on some of your concerns!
Dressing up for the presentation doesn't hurt, because the entire campus rep team will be dressed professionally, and you also have the potential to be interviewed that day/night so looking prepared is great!
The way we do it at my university is that people come to our presentations and watch the presentation video and after the presentation is over, those people that have applications ready to go are offered to interview at that time if their schedules permit. now, if they don't have their application and role checklist with them, The campus reps walk with them to the nearest computer lab and have them fill them out online, and print them out and walk back to our presentation location. They are given an interview immediately if they want it.
now, if the person has time conflicts, they can either interview the next day if available((we hold 2 presentations at my school)) or, schedule a phone interview.
I would definitely bring a resume, because it helps and shows you are prepared. I took my resume to my interview.
also, think about what you really wanna do for the company, and speak about that desire in your interview. I didn't care what i did at disney, i just was adamant about not working custodial. During my interview, I talked about how much food service jobs i'd worked such as concession stands and such since I was in high school. ironically enough, i was placed in Stands East in Magic Kingdom in Quick Service food and beverage. and I loved my job!
