When interviewing at a college regarding admission, what's an important question to ask other than the obvious?

Do you mean for you to ask thecollege or the college ask you? Are you a college admissions counselor?

My son is interviewing at two schools. He has some good questions, but they are the obvious ones that most students would ask. I'm wondering if there's a question he should ask, that's unique, that the average student wouldn't think to ask. :)

I used to do interviewing for college admissions - one question I was asked that I thought was interesting was "What do you think is the most unique, positive thing about this school?"

Interesting sites. My DS is starting the process. We just looked at two schools this week. The whole process has become very competitive.

I don't know how important this is to you, but I always ask how many commuter students they have. It's no fun to be left on a deserted campus on weekends.

JAMSMOM, great web sites. Thanks. :)
