I am not a fan of Jim Harbaugh even though I have been a fan of the Wolverines in the past, mainly basketball and the Fab 5.

Just my opinion. I feel there are a group of coaches out there that are jerks and Harbaugh is one of them. I count Bill Belichick, George Popovich, and Nick Saban in that group. Proves that winning will give you a free pass.

Well I mean Harbaugh was suspended for 3 games for the scandal so….he was kind of found guilty and disciplined. It’s not really disputed. The only thing in dispute is how much the games were affected by it. That really has nothing to do with Mott or the U of Michigan as a whole. And you are right, no Michigan fan gives 2 craps about the cheating (and probably any other fan base for any other team would feel the same way). I’m really just an observer as I don’t have a team in college football that a care a whole lot about (there’s a few teams I root for if it’s going to be a good game and I have nothing going on).

Didn't the violations happen in past years though? So had no impact on this year's games? Not saying Harbaugh shouldn't have been penalized, but if the "crimes" happened in years past, is it "justice" to punish this year's team?

I get some schools have had post season bans (in various sports), but I think those were for more serious infractions.

Videotaping of opposing teams signals occured this season. Probably in the past, too. That is a bright line rule in the NCAA. While Harbaugh was suspended bu the Big 10 for 3 games the NCAA has not weighed in yet.

You can't have every single game be a barn burner. It beats 55-19 or 65-7 as far as that goes doesn't it?
Even the Superbowl has had some blow outs. 55-10 Niners over the Broncos comes to mind.

I feel bad that all these people traveled here for ugly weather on game day. Pea sized hail was falling around that part of Houston during the 4th quarter. Obviously not snow, but tornado watches, minor street flooding, downed trees and power outages aren’t ideal tailgating weather.

Possibly, but they interviewed several groups that were tailgating throughout the game.

While I'm not sure I agree with the rule itself, it is a rule and it was violated so a 3 game ban of the coach doesn't seem enough for me. I guess we will have to stop telling our kids cheaters never win and winners never cheat.

The former president of Harvard is a serial plagiarist and now has a faculty position where she pulls down $900+K a year. Cheaters often win, unfortunately.

All the Love here! We have had a great season and my grandson attends the school. He is a huge fan and hasn't missed a home game all year. We also have a few UMich alumni in the family. Go Blue
