First and foremost, can you bring a collapsible cooler into the parks? Specifically, MK? If so, what kind do you normally bring? We have several small ones that have shoulder straps. We could bring one of those and hopefully there would be somewhere on the double stroller we plan to rent to either stuff or hang the cooler...anyone know? Or, Sam's has collapsible coolers on wheels now for $25....really coool. Anyone done this? Is it allowed? We would bring bottled water for ourselves, and juicboxes for the kids, and maybe even some lunchables to avoid park prices if possible. Just curious. Thank you!

Techinically you're not supposed to bring outside food or drinks into the theme parks, so realistically there would be no need for a cooler. But when my DD was younger we did bring a small one so she would have some juice boxes and more appropriate snacks. You can bring coolers to the waterparks though.

I'm just talking about a very small cooler. The rolling one is a little bigger, but not as big as a typical cooler. We can and do bring coolers into our nearest theme park, Silver Dollar City, but just wondered at MK.

Ok, so if its typically not allowed, do people still bring drinks/stuff to the park? If so, what do you pack it in? Has anyone ever had anything confiscated? Do you carry it around w/you all day or rent a locker? Maybe I could freeze some water in our fridge at the poly(is that possible) and just bring several bottles that will thaw over the course of the day?

She said "technically" you're not supposed to bring food or drink into the parks. Realistically, its done frequently; and nothing is said as long it's in moderation. A backpack with snacks and juice or water shouldn't be a problem. The rolling cooler from Sam's would be pushing it. A small cooler on a stroller would also work. Then find a a quiet corner and enjoy yourselves.
And freezing water overnight and carrying it in works well. Have a good trip; I think you'll find there's no comparison with Silver Dollar City...JMHO :cool1:
