Coldplay Kiss Cam Drama

While we don't know the exact circumstances (were he and his wife separated, did she know about this "relationship," etc.), if this is how the wife found out about it, I feel very sorry for her. Such a discovery can be devastating and the wife should be able to choose how she handles it, who she tells, etc. Having it dropped like a bomb on her and her family is devastating.

That said, the reaction of the "couple" when they saw the screen was very telling, especially the woman's. She very obviously was caught! She quickly pulled away from the guy and covered her face in shame and embarrassment. They both made their own choices, and chose to act on those choices in a very public setting, complete with thousands of people, cameras, a huge screen, cellphone cameras and instant access to social media. They have no one to blame but themselves.

I am a huge Coldplay fan and have attended 10 concerts on this current tour. The jumbotron is always a highlight, but this one was particularly wild. I am sure Chris Martin feels a bit bummed, but there is no privacy at a concert.

The company's next board-of-directors meeting is certainly going to be interesting. I wonder how they'll phrase the press release.

They are bad at cheating.

Had they just looked like co-workers should look they could have pulled it off.
They even had another employee with them they really could have made it look like a "work field trip".
Don't look like a couple and then look like you've been caught cheating.
Could have even played it cool and just hugged for the cam and they would have moved on.

I don’t know if this is real but it’s funny.

On another message board taking about this, people said that Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood (who are now a couple, with him having cheated on his first wife) make an announcement when the "kiss cam" starts that now would be a good time for anyone not wanting to be seen on screen to go grab a beer :) Also, no idea if this is true, but also funny.

No luck needed. While he would be completely in the wrong if he sued, the cost of defending the lawsuit would be greater than offering a settlement. "Go away" money as it is known. In a lot of Civil suits these days, the issue isn't right or wrong, it is what the bottom line cost will be among the options.
A little off topic maybe but this just burns me. What needs to happen to curtail this nonsense is for defendants who are clearly being plagued by a nuisance suit to aggressively defend themselves AND countersue for court costs. My company did that not too long ago because the plaintiff’s claim was just completely egregious. Not only did they lose and get hit with our lawyer’s stunning bill, the judge asked us if we wanted to amend our claim to add punitive damages. We declined.

guess we should give him the benefit of doubt but his actions make it hard to not believe the apology was put out, not well received, and then labeled as fake.
I thought the same as soon as I started seeing the “oh it was a fake statement” posts all over the media. If it walks like a back peddle and quacks like a back peddle, then you know what it is.

I feel for his wife and kids but those two, nope no sympathy at all. IMO they’re douches.
