I was afraid of thatNot in MK. You can anywhere else but MK is a dry park unless you have dinner in the Be Our Guest Restaurant. The beers there are pricey, but they do have Chimay Blue which is worth whichever price they choose to apply.

Is there any such place to get a cold beer on a hot July day in the Magic Kingdom?
sounds like a good plan.Hop on the resort monorail and get off at the Contemporary. Take the Escalator to the 4th floor concourse, following signs for Chef Mickey. On your left just before you get there, you will see the Outer Rim Lounge. My man Ray will set you up with a nice, cold brew there at the bar.![]()

thanksI agree to leave the MK for a short break, and go to any of the monorail resorts. The counter service places will have a limited selection of beer or wine, and it makes a nice little break!
Are any of these lounges open around 3:00?Add me to the list of monorail-hoppers! We love to do a little tour around Mizners (second floor of GF), Trader Sam's/Tambu Lounge (by Ohana), and Outer Rim (tucked away by Chef Mickey's) are all great. I'm not a beer drinker but they should all have a nice selection. Also great to get some apps at the Poly for a bit of a more substantial break! I avoid the Counter Service locations though I prefer the laid-back atmosphere of the lounges.
YepFWIW, if beer is the objective the Wave at the CR will have by far the best selection of craft and import brews.
Pretty sure The Wave is open from noon until whenever dinner ends and the bar there has a very good beer selection along with the ability to order from the restaurant menu. Are any of these lounges open around 3:00?
Thanks! Looking at the weather for the coming week. Sunny & hot! Afternoon breaks are criticalPretty sure The Wave is open from noon until whenever dinner ends and the bar there has a very good beer selection along with the ability to order from the restaurant menu.
