Coke vs. Pepsi

Pepsi all the way. I don't like the flavor of Coke unless it's the Vanilla Coke or if I MUST drink it I have to add lemon.

Yes, Pepsi is sweeter but I like the flavor so much more.

I drink Coca-Cola exclusively. If I go to a restaurant and order a Coke and they say "Is Pepsi Okay?" I say, "No, water with lime please".

I find Pepsi to be too sweet...and Coca-Cola has more carbonation.

ITA!! I love the burn of Coke!! Pepsi makes me kinda flinch if I get it by mistake.

I agree 100% and do the exact same thing in a restaurant. We have season passes to Hersheypark and a few years ago they switched from Coke to Pepsi. I could've died (well, not actually, but you know what I mean). I hate Pepsi and refuse to drink it at the Park. I always, always end up getting water. I hope Disney doesn't switch to Pepsi anytime soon.

I prefer Pepsi over Coke, but I will take a fountain Coke over a can of pepsi.

Yeah, that's quite weird.... and also the way I am. I can only drink Pepsi in a can (no plastic bottles for me) and also prefer fountain Coke over a fountain Pepsi. Oh, I just realized you said "fountain Coke over a can of Pepsi."

At Pop Century, $15 for a refillable mug filled constantly with practically water. That is what the fountain drinks were like. They were extremely watered down and flat the whole week. I was very disappointed, but my wife liked the tea.

Coke here too. I prefer that slight "burn" or kick when I drink it. Pepsi tastes a bit sweet to me but I will drink it with pizza if there is nothing else. Lol. Gotta have any soda with pizza.

My DH and 2 kids prefer Pepsi. But we try not to buy and drink too much soda in our household. We prefer lemonade and ice tea. But like I said, soda is a must if we are having pizza!

I love pepsi. I don't mind coke from the soda fountain but dislike it from cans.

Pepsi Throwback is my favorite. It is made with real sugar not high fructose corn syrup. Pepsi started it last summer for 8 weeks, then put it out again after Christma for 8 weeks and are supposed to put it out again at the end of the summer for another 8 weeks. I am so hoping they do because we are down to 6 twelve packs.

Otherwise, I like RC better than Coke or Pepsi.

My absolute favorite is Diet Dr. Pepper but that was not a choice . Next favorite is Diet Coke. Not a fan of Diet Pepsi at all.

Coke all the way. Part of my love of Disney is that they serve Coke products. I have mentioned this to my husband many times. Plus Coke or Diet Coke from McDonalds is some of the best tasting. My kids love the Mexican Coke that you can buy from Sam's Club, real sugar! I will also base my dining choices on whether they serve coke or pepsi, sad I know!! I hate that all the theatres by us only serve Pepsi products thankfully they have diet sierra mist, but still can't beat a nice big icy diet coke with some salty buttery popcorn.

Back in the 70's WDW had the Coke and Pepsi test. You know the one they showed as commercials where you tasted 2 samples and chose the one you liked. They would then show you what you picked. I of course chose Coke. I wonder if they wanted to know which their guests preferred.

I love Pepsi. Not diet, but regular. Really cold with ice put in the cup after the Pepsi (loses less carbonation). I don't like it straight from the can, has to have ice. I can't drink Coke, I really dislike the particular strong taste. I do like Dr. Pepper though.

Even funnier is that I really hate Sprite. My husband laughs when I tell him that I think it tastes like sweaty feet. That's the only way I can discribe it. I like Sierra Mist much better.

I think my only complaint about Disney is that you can't get a Pepsi to save your life!

My favorite thing to drink is fresh squeezed lemonade. Has anyone tried the Cherry Limeade at Sonic? So addictive!

I used to be a diet coke fan all the way! If no coke in a restaurant, I got water with lemon or sweet tea!

Now that I have given up HFCS and sugar substitutes, I have been drinking Hansens sodas. They are yummy and made with real sugar! In fact, I havent had a coke in a week and had a diet coke this morning ( had a craving) and it tasted really weird to me! I haven't had any HFCS in over a week or any sugar substitutes. I wonder if that is why!

I worked in a grocery store. They had the Lays Challenge set up. I said, this is easy, I hate Snyder chips and Lays are my favorite. I tasted them, said I like this one, it is Lays. The lady said, nope, you chose Snyders, LOL.

Its all about the Pepsi lol howeveri do keep coke in my car just in case i need to clean my battery terminals ... yes i know they both will do the trick coke just seems to work faster ... oh it is also good to clean our pennys before you use them for pressed pennys

I am 100% addicted to Pepsi and only Pepsi...but I will only buy it on sale (generally every five or six weeks lol). If a restaurant serves coke then I will drink sprite or root beer.

Me too! I hate it when someone switches and I do not know until it is too late to dine elsewhere

I'm an elementary school teacher. Several years ago I taught a unit on media literacy. As part of that unit, my students did a Pepsi Challenge at the school during recesses for two days. Students at the school filled out a form indicating which drink was their favorite out of Coke, Pepsi, and RC Cola.

Not one person in the entire school that participated in the taste test chose RC Cola on the form they filled out prior to the tasting, but RC Cola was the overall favorite in the blind taste tests. It won by a huge percentage. Only 21% of the students chose their favorite of Coke or Pepsi. Many were very surprised at the outcome.
