Coke/Pepsi switch

Does anyone know if the contract change from Coke to Pepsi on July 4th at the Parks extends to DCL?

Firstly the references to that were a April fools day joke.

But if they ever did, I would say yes, as DCL has always used leverage off WDW DL park contracts.

DCL has always had it 'cheap' as when they set up the cruise line they went to Coke and asked for the same terms as the parks as 'we are Disney' and got it.

Coke wouldn't want to just supply the cruise line so its likely to all be wrapped up in one deal.

Where did you hear that WDW is switching to Pepsi? Coke has a very long term deal that doesn't expire anytime soon. The new Shanghai park will be Pepsi.

Pepsi probably offered to pay Disney to serve it. Coke just offered to provide them with free syrup and machines.

Yea got a better deal. Pretty sure the company that runs Shanghai Disney is a totally separate company so isn't part of Disney Parks deal.
