VIQ (Very Important Question): if I land at MCO at 5:40am on an American flight, so Airside 3, what is my best option for coffee? Starbucks preferred but will consider other options

Zaza Cuban Cafe (info from airport website below) opens at 4:30am and is located in the center hub (across from the tram station) of airside 3 which is where AA arrives.. This would be quickest as you can grab the coffee before you board the people mover train, and as a coffee drinker I can attest that the coffee here is good, Cuban coffee, espresso, etc... They also have a very generous assortment of pastries and breakfast items..

If you really want Starbucks, your options are the opposite corner of the main terminal where Airside 2 exits the secured area under the Hyatt, or on the ground transportation level on B side. Personally I'd rather have anything but Starbucks and would gladly stop at the place listed above.
