Coffee

I have been out of the loop on this. I understand that WDW has switched to Jofferys. Is this brewed coffee or is the coffee the same syrup as Nescafé? What are the differences of there are any at all? I don't need a high end cup, just don't want to be shrinking that sludge they used to pass off.

From what I've seen in the hotels, it looks like it's brewed and then put in carafe servers.

I am a bit of a coffee snob and couldn't stand the nesca-rap they served either and this seems a bit better.

The main difference is that the Joffreys coffee is actually drinkable. Not the best I've ever hand, but certainly decent.

I no longer feel the need to pack my own coffee with me.

I agree the new coffee tastes a lot beefed than the old stuff. It's also a little more stronger tasting.

The Joffrey's decaf blend we had at AKL Jambo was passable. A vast improvement over the Nescafe if nothing else.

There's Starbucks in MK, Epcot and DTD. Can't speak to what they provide in the rooms.

This is encouraging. We did drink the Nescafé but it was awful. I am not a coffee snob by any means, but I wanted something that was drinkable ,something the equivalent to truck stop coffee was fine by me, just no more concentrate.

I am pretty sure the coffee was the new stuff then. It has been 2 years since we were there last. I can't remember exactly when the change was but it has been a while.

I enjoy the new Joffrey's they serve now at the resorts. It's strong but not too strong.
