coffee/toiletries

We went in March for a weekend stay (Thursday through Sunday) and my husband noticed that there was only one packet of coffee. Will we be charged if we asked for more or should we add coffee to our shopping list?

Also what about the small bottles of toiletries, will we be charged if we ask for more....?

We will be there for almost a week this time.......

The coffee starter pack and toiletries are renewed on Trash & Towel Day and on Full Cleaning Day if your stays are long enough. You're supposed to be charged if you ask for more when you are staying on points.

Most of us just bring our own. I don't much care for the coffee they provide and the small bottles of toiletries are not enough for our stays.

Those with owners lockers often ue them to store the larger bottles of their favorite brands ( as well as other things).

Thanks.....now I have a question about laundry facilities...we are staying in a studio so we'll have to haul our laundry down/over/across to the facility. How much are the self serve washers and dryers? Are they free to DVC members?

There free, you just need to provide the detergent, fabric softner, etc...
We used the facilities at OKW on our last trip when we were in a studio. It wasn't too bad the facilities were by a quiet pool so DD went swimming while I did laundry.

Some of the resorts have the new HE washers and dryers. I brought HE detergent.

Good question about the laundry facilities. Myself and the two people that came in after me spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out where to put the quarters! I even called my mom to see if she'd come and help me. Finally, a CM walked by & I asked.
