We are leaving on Tuesday for our trip to Disney and staying at the Swan. Something that I love ALMOST as much as Disney is my morning coffee...Talk to me about which restaurants, stands, resorts, etc have good coffee and what to avoid. Starbucks is OK, but it makes me jittery, and I would prefer something else that is smooth but not overly strong. TIA!

I find the standard coffee at the counter service restaurants to be laking in substance and flavor. (But to be fair, I find most drip coffee to be laking in substance and flavor.)

You can get something with a little more oomph at Joffery's coffee stands in the parks and some resorts in addition to a Starbucks location in each park. Last time we were there (2014) the Joffery's carts even offered a punch card... we went though a couple of those.

Edit: I was clearly over-caffinited when I responded and didn't read the entire post... just realized that my response is exactly the opposite of what you were asking. Apologies, and now i will go run laps around the living room to burn off this extra energy. o_Oo_Oo_O

I've heard good things about the Kona-style coffee at the Poly resort. Press pot sounds great. I haven't tried it yet but on the radar for the future.

Besides starbucks, Kona's is definitely the best on property. You don't have to eat there as you can also order it at the sushi bar area right outside the restaurant (they serve pastries and coffee in the morning). Grand Floridian Cafe also has a press pot cup.

In the past we've also brought our own and used that in the coffee makers in the room.

It is good! There is also a nice press pot of Organic Columbian coffee at The Wave.

How many cups are in the pressed pots of coffee? Just wondering if it would be worth it to order as a solo diner. I love coffee but can't drink more than a few cups total.

I also have brought my own to use in the room if a coffee maker is available. If there is no coffee maker in the room, I bring the bottled coffee you put in the fridge to drink cold since most of the time it's too hot for me to drink hot coffee anyway.

I also have enjoyed the Joffrey's that's served in the QS at the resorts which I don't find as strong as Starbucks but is pretty smooth.

The Swan has a Java Bar - I'm not sure what brand of coffee they use, though. We really like the coffee at Les Halles Boulangerie in EP's France pavilion. They are open in the morning prior to WS opening, so if you are entering through IG from the Swan, it's nice to stop there on the way in to the park and get some coffee (and other delicious treats!). There is a kiosk in Italy in WS that also has good coffee.

In that neck of the Woods, there is Ale and Compass Lounge at The Yacht Club. Right off the main lobby, they have coffee in the morning. I love the iced coffee there! If you were an iced coffee fan, I could give you lots of tips!
