Mu dh is a big coffee drinker. Is there any place to get flavored coffees and expresso? If so, are these extra or included in the cruise price. I know my husband will order coffee from room service everyday but he also likes to mix it up sometimes.

Thanks for the help.

Hi aside from the free drink station on deck 9... Regular stuff... There is Cove Cafe, a wonderful haven for coffee drinkers, and anyone wanting a wonderful place to visit, there are other drinks as well, cookies, and internet cafe also!!

They have some wonderful specialties here.. IT could add up quickly though, as this is not included. Also note, this is for those 18 and over.

HTH :goodvibes

:confused3 Can anyone confirm that the coffee via Deck 9 and room service is that icky "Nescafe?"....that's NOT real coffee! So, if that's true...is the coffee in Cove Cafe from real beans/espresso machine? Can you order it to go in a paper cup? :cheer2:

Thanks, DIS NURSE from Oregon

I can't confirm that it is really Nescafe, but have heard it is. The Cove Cafe apparently was pretty good - real beans. DW was very happy she found it. Nice coffee and can be to go. Remember the goodies (cookies, etc) are no charge.

The coffee at The Cove was excellent. Make sure that you pick up a frequent coffee card and have it stamped each time. When your card is full you get a free coffee. I had my tea made in a to-go cup all the time. Also, an interesting thing that we learned is if you get liquor in you coffee, you only pay for the liquor, not the coffee. This also includes lattes and the like.

Yep, the coffee at the beverage station is NesCafe. Perhaps, as we have said in previous threads, it may not be the coffee itself that is horrible, but the brewing. Regardless, the coffee stinks at the beverage station. Cove Cafe can make any espresso, latte, etc and it was pretty good. I had no idea they had a punch card! We went there daily (often more than once a day) on our back to backs.....our coffee expense was nearly as much as our alcohol expense it seemed! If you are used to your local coffee house, or even your supermarket Starbucks, you'll be happy with the Cove Cafe.

I'll concur the coffee at the Cove is VERY good! Especially compared to that other stuff they call coffee. The Cove is very nice to sit and have a cup and relax.

I guess the coffee cards are like "hidden Mickeys". It's there, but no advertised well........ Thanks for that tip!

I know my mom is a coffee drinker and I will want to take her there a few times...but can you tell me if its non smoking or not? If there are smokers we will have to have it to go every time.

I saw some very nice loung chairs outside for smoking but never did see a smoker inside. I can't recall if there were any signs about smoking.

No, there is no smoking inside the cafe.... On the entry, zip in quickly, as usually there are a bunch of smokers there...

Hmmm..did not know about the card either. Hubby was there several times daily, he will be interested to know this...

Also, if you purchase the nice thermos cups in the shops, there is a freebie inside it... Cups were around 6.99, so it was very worth it...THey are gorgeous...
