I am a coffee freak. :yay: Just love my Dunkin Donuts coffee. Are there any in the Anaheim area?

I don't think there are any Dunkin' Donuts, at least not that I have noticed. There are of course Starbucks around. The Blue Ribbon Bakery and a few other places in DL have mochas and cappucinos. And Compass Books in DTD has excellent coffee.

I did a Dunkin' search for Anaheim - no hits. Hopefully a local can steer us towards a non-Starbucks location for decent coffee.

No, alas no D&D around here (SoCal)...one thing I greatly miss about the east coast!

There's none in the entire state of California (although you can buy bags of the coffee in the grocery stores). Believe me, if there was a D&D in Anaheim, my mom would be there every time that she's in SoCal. It took forever to get Krispy Kremes out here, so I doubt they'll be bringing D&D back anytime soon (there used to be a few in CA but they closed in the 80s and 90s). I'm still waiting for them to bring Caribou Coffee to the state.

I am a dunkin donuts addict too :thumbsup2

I can't do starbucks because it is too strong for me

What I do (since we stay at the HOJO's each time we go) is get McDonalds's coffee :)

McDonalds actually got better marks then Starbucks coffee in a taste test.

Good Luck!

I totally agree with you! My husband and I are BIG coffee drinkers and love D&D coffee, but will do with McDonald's if there is none around.

How sad that there are no D7D...but the doughnuts in CA have always been my favorite....they are less 'commercial' than the D&D kind

Not that I know of, but you could always bring a bag with you and make it at the hotel :coffee:

It isn't great coffee but Market House on Main Street will give you a free refill if you save your reciept. I don't care for it, but DH needs his coffee. I, on the other hand, would go without if I can get a very good cup. :)

People recommend to me the coffee at Compass Books in DTD but I never got to try it so don't know. :confused3

I don't remember liking what we got from Compass, but I just called them and they use Coffee Klatch coffee from the local-to-Anaheim roasters of the same name (what seems to be klatchroasting dot com).

In the parks it's Nescafe, which I don't mind in an iced latte (they do them MUCH better than starbucks does). The roast is different at Storyteller's Cafe, or so the server said, though it's still Nescafe, and I did enjoy that cuppa jo much more than any normal coffee I've had at DLR.

That's settled - I've added DnD coffee to my packing list. Although, I am more than willing to try Mickey D's over the Nescafe. Thanks everyone!

Glad to see I'm not alone in my love of Dunkins coffee. Guess I'll be adding DD coffee to my packing list. Will also give McDonald's a try.

Thanks everyone for your comments.

There used to be D&D out here many years ago - I remember one on Beach Blvd and one in La Habra, and we too loved their coffee - but, alas, they closed down for reasons unknown.
