Refresh my memory...do the resorts have Keurig style makers so I can bring my KCups with me? I cannot remember what BWI or POFQ had but I think it was similar to one....

Yay you're back!!

The new coffee pots are by Cuisinart and are pods... not K-Cups. They have to make things difficult, right??

Thanks so much...and yes I am back...after being Dis Free for 6 months I am in the throws of planning our Oct trip and I have just one week to get my dining issues situated before I have to make them :scared1:

Silly WDW, they should have put Keurigs in .....

Nescafe (coffee found in WDW) has a subsidarary that makes.....PODS, so Pod machine is what they went with.

If you use two pods for one cup, does it make a decent cup of coffee or is it awful?

Missed you Nicki! Glad to see you back! :goodvibes

Do they have these at CBR too?

Thanks for asking this. We'll be at CBR in a little more than a week, with at least 2 people who will need coffee to get going.
My additional question is this: I'm not familiar with these kind of coffee makers. Do you NEED one of the PODs or CUPs, or whatever it is, or can you use grounds in a filter the old-fashioned way. We loves us some Coffee and Chickory; the pure stuff you get away from the delta just ain't the same ;)

Not sure about CBR. I know Port Orleans Riverside has them already. They're changing all deluxe and moderate to these, but I'm just not sure of the progress. You definately have to use the pods. I also like to run hot water through for tea.

Do you have to bring your own, or are the pods provided? If so, is there an extra charge? And do they have coffee cream, or is it the powdered stuff?

I ask about the charge because I was on a business trip in Las Vegas this past January, and Caesar's Palace had Keurig machines in the rooms ... but you had to buy a four-pack of K-cups from the mini-bar for 12 BUCKS!!! :sad2: Talk about highway robbery!

They have the pods in a pack in your room along with packets of creamer powder and sweetners. I always pack a small baggie of sweetner and tea from home, and I normally pick up a small milk in the gift shop--which is just my preference. There's not a mini bar or anything, no extra charges.

1) One pod is all that will fit in each side.
2) You can't double-up on the pods.
3) The coffee is 100% Arabica.
4) If you like arabica, you will be satisfied.
5) If you want robusto or columbian, try something else.

Awful, pretty much un-drinkable.

I have a Keurig at home.

Thanks. Looks like the mini Keurig is coming on my next vacation to WDW again.

There are other coffee pods you can buy for this coffee maker. Just do a search on Amazon. My DH travels and this is what is in the resort rooms where he stays. He bring Melitta coffee pods that I purchased on Amazon.

Are there coffee makers in the Value Resorts.... POP more specifically. Or will I need to go to the food court? We are HUGE coffee drinkers and this is our first WDW trip in 5 years.... :)
