Coffee machine Q

Hi, Q about the coffee makers in the room (staying at CBR). Can you get just hot water and if yes will it taste/smell like coffee? We want to use the hot water for instant oatmeal for the kids breakfast before heading to the parks.

You can just have it output hot water, but how coffee-like it will smell may vary based on the machine.

Most resorts have the Cusinart single serve machines, that brew into a cup, so no. There won’t be a coffee flavour. I use it for oatmeal too. Just be sure before using to rinse tray that holds the coffee pod.

The hot water from the machine should be fine and has no coffee taste.
