ok is the coffee in the filters different/better than the Roaring Forks coffee?
Ive been reading about the bad coffee at WDW - wondering what they give us for the room

You'll get one pack of coffee (one pot) to use in the coffee maker, if you want more, you'll have to bring your own coffee and filters. The coffee is at least fresh brewed, since at Roaring Forks they serve Nescafe instant.

Yes, the coffee in the rooms is regular ground coffee. But, you'll need to supply some of your own coffee or order extra coffee packs, the initial supply is only enough for 1 pot.

And actually, depending on who makes it, the Nescafe canbe pretty good. Some mornings it is better than others.

with the poor coffee usually found at wdw, I have really tried alot of different options there, I found some great awsome coffees available at wdw.

Downtown at world of disney they sell whole bean coffee. A small grinder is easily packed.
The kenya AA variety is one of the best coffees I have ever tasted fresh ground. It rivals Kona and Blue Mountian. But the Kenya AA sells for about 11.99 vs the $43 price of the Kona beans at the kona cafe.

If you are a serious coffee lover you must try it. The disney brand coffees sold in the resort gift shops are ok too. I am not much of a fan of flavored coffees, I like a rich real coffee taste thats bold and smooth not bitter. Thats what youll get with the Kenya AA fresh ground beans.

For any timeshare vacation, we always back the Maxwell house coffe that comes prepackaged in the filter, use 2 packages for 10 cups and it comes out perfect. I think each box has 10 filter packeges in them. We pack a gladware bowl with sugar, another gladware bowl with the measured amount of ice tea mix. And we are all set. Then we just buy our half and half there.

Speaking of DD--the hot Kona coffee at Eeal of Sandwich was to die for!!! I came back to order a second cup and she gave me a free re-fill, said it was included. :D

I personally like to pack my favorite ground Starbucks blend and filters. But then, I am a coffee fanatic. How else could I stay up all night on these boards and still get up in the morning!

Nescafe???? Too funny....

The water at WDW makes all the coffee tastes below par. To get a good cup of coffee you need to either have a water filter or bottled water.

We take our own coffee and filters to use in the room. The coffee we've had at the parks isn't that great but will do if you are dying for a cup.

The gallon jugs of Zephyrillis water sold in the resort gift shops works well for making that fresh ground coffee.

I didnt check out the earl of sandwich. Now I know where to get a good ready made cup when downtown.

Finally someone who thinks like I do. On my last trip I was buying bottles of Evian Water to go with my fresh ground beans and wow what a difference!
