Doubling odds for MM reservation

I'm hoping to register for the September MM at DHS. We'll be three in my room. Wondering if there's a couple going who wants to share our odds. We would both try to register for 5, if one of us cannot get it, they can be invited by the others. Anyone willing to join forces to double our odds?

That's great, any tips on how you do that? I will be trying tomorrow. I have gotten in years ago, but not for any recent ones.

I get in the queue on my laptop and my phone. Typically one will have a lower queue number than the other. That's the one I stick with. They let in enough people during the first registration that odds are pretty good you'll get in I think. The second registration for every eligible member is a waste of time, very few are admitted.

When did this change? The last time I registered was early January for the late January one at DHS.

It was just a couple of months ago when I registered for Typhoon Lagoon for May. I think you can find posts about it.

Gotcha, good to know. Well, I'll still get 2 tries since my wife and I typically are on the reservation and we're both members. But I've only ever needed one.

The last time it was reported you entered your membership ID before getting in the Que which is why it only gave one.

I thought last year people who qualified for early registration were emailed a link to enter the cue.
Are they doing that again this year because I did not get an email as of yet

I received the email and I never get Disney emails! Check your spam folder, it might be there.
They used to publish the link in the website, in the MM page, but I cannot find it now. Not sure if they'll add it later

They use the same queue number for multiple devices now.

I can confirm that it is the same for this MM as well. Both DH and I entered the waiting room and it was the same Queue ID #

The email went out yesterday around 11 am eastern time. Check your spam/junk folder.

You must have really good luck, I missed out again. I was logged in by 10:30 and in the randomized queue at 11, and got a wait time of 31 minutes (which ended up being 80 min until I was actually admitted to the registration page. By that time the Epcot event was gone by a long shot.

I have 2 rooms booked and I waited 5 hours and 20 minutes online today to get in for Sept. 1 event - only to be informed that it was full after waiting over 5 hours. I'm quite certain the registration process is broken and you are NOT in line in the order that you connect and that many people who connect late were able to get in.

In fact, if anyone got in who connected after 7am Eastern time, that proves my theory.

Well today I tried to get MM for July since we are staying at boardwalk villas and Polynesian on our points. Well no luck unfortunately. Maybe you were able to get tickets

The way it supposedly works is everyone that connects before 11am is placed in a waiting room. Everyone from that waiting room is then given a random place in the queue at 11am. Anyone connecting once the queue opens at 11am is placed at the end of the line on a first come basis.

So it makes no difference if you connect at 7am or at 10:59am. You get a random spot in the queue at 11am.
