Hi Everyone!
I am a total Coffee Queen and when I come to WDW I am almost always unsatisfied with the Java Juice that I have encountered at the restaraunts, cafe's or counter service. Can any one shed light on where in the "world" I can find a decent cup o' joe with out going to V&A's?

I am going to move this to our Dining Forum. They should be able to answer this for you. And I am interested in hearing the answers! :surfweb:

The Polynesian Resort has a coffee stand just inside the door from the Monorail platform (on the 2nd floor.)
They serve real coffee not reconstituted coffee syrup.

Good Luck!!

I Love the Kona Coffee at the Poly. There is a quick coffee bar in the lobby right by the monorail stop. You can also get it at the Kona Cafe. It you are a Starbucks fan, the Swan and Dolphan (Epcot Area) used to have it. I think they still do.

I do love Starbucks! We have tried the Kona coffee at Boma. It was great! I thought there would be better coffee in places where there were cakes & pasteries like France & Italy in Epcot. I've tried the coffee there some time ago but was disappointed. Just another quest for me!!

Definitely worth getting off the monorail for the Kona at Polynesian, but other than that, you may be disappointed. And I feel your pain. I'm currently enjoying a heavenly Somalian grind...

I am jealous! I was stuck with instant this morning:scared1: but when I pick up the kids, I'm headed straight to Starbucks! LOL!

:scared1: Instant!!!! I'm so sorry!

I don't even keep instant in the house, lol. I'd rather walk, naked, through a blizzard, uphill, over broken glass, to the grocery store for beans.

LOL! Ain't that the truth! I keep the instant for when my Mother-in-law comes over! LOL! Just kidding.

There is some decent coffee in Epcot. There are 3 stands I remember. One is over near Mission:SPACE and Universe of Energy. The stand has coffee, espresso, and cappuccino. There are also two stands in Epcot. If you are entering WS from FW you either go left and get to a cart on your right before Mexico or head right and get to a cart right around the Canada pavilion. If memory serves both carts have a variety of coffees.

The best coffee in WDW is the press pot at Boma. Boma is my favorite restaurant anyway but the press pot makes it all the better. I also rate the Moroccan coffee you get in Restaurant Marrakesh. It is coffee with a shot of espresso and orange blossom water.

Hope this helps.

I think you are right! The press pot at Boma is the best. Once, my husband tried to press and went too fast:scared1:. . . I wante to flip because it was $40.00 for a small pot! But they were kind and gave us another try:thumbsup2 I've never tried Moroccan coffee . . .will add it to my quest! Thanks:goodvibes

Animal Kingdom - to your right as you enter the Park - before the security check. Great coffee and pastry kiosk!

I'm a coffeeholic too, one of the reasons I stay at the Poly is for that morning cup of REAL joe! The Kona cafe also had a pressed pot of Kona coffee that is marvelous!:surfweb:

All I want is the resort and hotels to get rid of the sludge they are serving. I would take burnt gas station coffee over that garbage, just dont try to feed me instant like it is real coffee.

Don't laugh but...McDonald's.

They recently upgraded their coffee (in a desperate bid to compete with Starbucks) and it's mighty good. I confess to not really liking Starbucks coffee too much, but the McDonald's brew is rich and full-bodied without tasting burnt.

You can find one at Downtown Disney, and over by the All Star Resorts.

OMG! Hoe true is that! Even the coffee makers in the DVC's have some evil coffee spell on them. I brought my own coffee (Starbucks) and used bottled water and still :scared1: ! I ran the machine with just water first and nothing. I really don't want to start bringing my own coffee machine!LOL!

McDonalds has steped it up! I had a cup on my way to work the other day. Thanks for the tip:goodvibes

Sounds like another quest for me! lol!:lmao: I'll let you know:thumbsup2

This is soft of off topic but I was talking to someone about what they can do with that abomination of a restaurant in the American pavilion and we pretty much agreed that turning it into a real coffee house would work. With the coffee house culture we have now in this country it would fit culturally. It would be a good counter point to the English tea culture.

Just an idea.
