coffee at YC?

We will be at the YC in a few weeks. If we get refillable mugs, how far is it to get your coffee? Do you have to go over to the BC or Beaches and Cream? Should I try to bring a coffee maker, or can you get one from housekeeping?

I wonder if the construction work at the YC has cleared up.

We just got back from YC and had the refillable mugs. The coffee is at the end of the lobby, I think it is called the YC Galley--it's not the restaurant. You just filled them up yourself. They also sold coffee and pastries that you could toast yourself. We had requested a coffee maker for our room, but after finding out how convienent it was to use the mugs we didn't have it sent up. The construction while we were there 7-10---7-17 didn't really bother us since we were at the pool in the afternoon mostly. One day we did take a nap and I was aware that construction was going on. It didn't bother the kids though. Our room was on the front close to the lobby.

I am glad you responded. I am not going to worry about the coffeemaker. We'll get the refillable mugs. We had them last year at the CR and it was nice to wake up in the morning and have the coffee made and waiting (although I had to go for a short walk for it.)

I won't have to worry about grounds, cream, sweetener,etc.
