I always read how so many of you save so much $$ with codes! I have a code question - if I make a room only reservation directly through 407-WDisney (or whatever the room only phone number is!) - can I call back and change it when the code comes out? I don't want to have to wait for the code!!

Let me know!!

Yes you can! In fact that is what I did this morning. I applied the code that came out to my existing reservation. I originally had the AAA discount but the code that came out today saved me even more!

I called Disney and asked if they had any AAA rates available for any of the value resorts during my dates. They did so I booked it and put one night deposit down. The balance is due upon arrival.

As much as I like AAA, I have talked to a couple of agents and I wouldn't feel comfortable having them make my reservations. I know more about the discounts than they did!

I've called and changed codes multiple times for the same reservation! I always start with AAA, then work my way from that to Disney Visa Card, to Public Discount Codes, then to AP Discount Codes. You never know what will be issued and when, so I get the best deal I can, and then hope for something better to come along. Once a good code comes out beating my existing ressie, I call and have it applied. We went in May and I ended up going through 3 different codes until I settled on the AP discount.

I look at it this way, the less money you spend on the room the more often you can come back:p :p

Good luck!
